RCT 4

Talk about RCT 2, RCT, No Limits, Hyper Rails, Scream Machines or any other Rollercoaster related game here.
Postby CoasterCrazy1657 on July 8th, 2006, 11:54 am
if a roller coaster tycoon 4 comes out what would you want on it,that you didn't have on RCT3?
Pesonally i would want
-pre made parks (like in RCT2...all the 6 flags)
-A inverted LIM launch type track (i want the V2)
-To be able to choose where you want your park located (U.S.,Asia,London ext.)
-Natral disasters (Tornado,Floods,Earthquakes)
What do you want to keep from RCT3?
-Sandbox mode
So, what do you guys want to see if a RCT4 is coming out. Or does anyone have news on a RCT4?

more paths and realistic wait times and realistic amounts of guests.

A furious storm once roared `cross the sea, catching ships in its path, helpless to flee. Instead of a certain and watery doom, the winds swept them here to Typhoon Lagoon!

Use any of the regular path types as queue paths. more real rides and parks. (like in rct2). supports that come in game so you don't have to get them from some other download. non-scrolling signs like in rct2. also, more overall realisticality if that's a word.

I also would like paths to go diagnol instead of side to side and up an down. I wouls also like the freedom to create landscaping. like make your own rock formations (perfect for the the DEMON).

More patient guests. It's annoying when they're pissed about waiting 10 min. for an awsome ride.

It doesn't look all that bad...I mean it doesnt look like you will really have enough ride options but the ability to walk around your own park...that's cool. idk though I'd be a little hesitant to actually get it.

^actualy, i disagree. It looks like youll have a lot of choices for rides and pieces. Look at the screens, one of them shows a barrol roll going up.

I definately see that scenery will be lacking, I don't think anyone has the tolerance/patience to stack scenery and create a building using a controller (so it won't be an option).

It looks to be almost exactly like RCT3 except you can interact with the guests and race in your go-carts and play in the interactive rides/attractions. There also looks to be more random things than RCT3, but looks to have the same elements as RCT3, but less.

Unfortunatly a lot of the games that offer a lot of freedom with creating rides are also very complicated and hard for the average computer gamer to use. RCT has the ability to build realistic and also simple rollercoasters.

yeah i guess i was more commenting on the different coaster types. like rct3 has tons and im guessing this game only has the basic types. idk though i will have to look at the screens.

In rollercoaster 2 one track allowed you to place Launch Pieces ANYWERE on the course of the coaster as long as it was a FLAT piece of track. bring that back.. that way you can truely make a top thrill dragster that moves out of the station before launching off

pre-made six flags parks including great america

brakes that can also be placed on vertical or slanted pieces of track so you can (like raging bull) slow the train on a hill wiithout having to create un-nessecary flat pieces

Thrilleville actually looks kind of interesting. I will probably get it when it comes out, mostly because I would get it for PSP, and having a portable coaster designing game would be really cool.
