I was reading becky 33's post where someone mentioned his braining hurting because someone said something wrong about the park.
That made me think about something funny i heard a woman tell her friend while i was waiting in line for a coaster ride. The woman told her friend that during Fright Fest, one that she had been too that they run ALL the roller coasters backward. Her friend asked her about this and she again told her ALL roller coasters are run backward.
This was funny as hell and i didnt say anything, all i could do was laugh!!!!
So was other funny things have people heard about the park??
Im standing in Demon's line and this guy points to V2's spiked tower. He says "See that yellow ride over there, it got stuck at the top for hours a while ago."
Im in line for SUF. The girl behind me goes "Lets ride that yellow one. Whats it called, V squared?"
My sister in V2's station referring to the LIM sound. "Is that sound effects?"
My sister and I were in line for the River Rocker and these girls cut in fron of us. There were about 4 of them, they were like "you take this side, we'll take that side" to each other because they were trying to take our seats. So we finally get up there and all four of them go to the same side. We laughed the whole time.
Oh and there was this other time when these 12 year old kids were trying to act all tough when we were going on Viper. So my sis and I were in the last row and these kids were one row in front of us. We're going up the first hill and the car stops dead on tracks. Those two boys freaked out! It was so funny because they were trying be "gangsta" and they were cussing and stuff and as soon as the train stopped they started screaming like little girls. Fun times.
I was on Eagle on opening day. I went on BLue and people in front of me were talking about how it goes backwards. I said it went forwards..they didn't believe me. I bet them 10 bucks it went forwards. We started off, going forwards, and then the train went forward. Then the lift stopped at the top, and I made them hand it over (they were in car 5, row 2, I was car 5 row 3). Easiest 10 bucks I ever made.
some kid was in line asking his brother if his tatoo on his back was coming off or not so his brother says it wasnt and then they asked my brother to check for them to get a "second opinion" and he said kinda and the kid was really dissapointed and asked his brother again and he said yes this time and the kid almost started crying. not really ride related but it happend at sfgam.

^Please at least try to use complete sentences, I had difficulties understanding that post.
I love it when people think they know things about rides. I've heard more than once someone in line for viper say that it was the oldest ride in the park.
The "sound effects" thing on V2 happens so much its redunkulous.
My personal favorites are when people think the more soft core rides are hardcore and vise versa.
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
I was in line for Whizzer with a few of my friends earlier this year, and we got in the stupidest conversation with this little kid who was about 8 or 9 years old:
"I'm so scared to go on this ride. Yesterday, someone fell out of the car on the turn and fell in the pond and drowned!" He wasn't kidding, either.
We were ing, but we still told him, "Look little dude, that never happened and never will!"
"And that farm girl walked off with slippers off a dead woman? She must have been raised in a barn!" ~Wicked, an excellent musical

yeah sorry normally i use write sentences normally idk what happened there. ill go edit it and fix it.
My friend was talking acting like he knew the history of Great America. He said that American Eagle is the oldest ride in the park. Im like wtf? it was built in the 80's.
Correct me if im wrong but wasnt the Shockwave built before Eagle?
Oh and me and my friend were talking about how the Demon got stuck upside down for two hours. And this little girl said that it was suppose to happen because it was for fright fest and they do that all the time and they run it backwards too. This didnt make sense, I just hate it when people make up lies with no sources to back it up.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
A few years back, me and some friends of mine were waiting in line for Vertical Velocity. This lady like right in front of us in line started complaining about the line being long/going slow. She says and I quote, "God this line is just taking forever, what's going on up there?! And they are only running one train!" I leaned back to my friends and said "Is it even possible to run more than one train?" HAHAHAHA this was probably the funniest thing I've ever heard while waiting in line, and no one else seemed to get it. Now when we're in line, we say the same thing real loud and see if anyone looks at us like we're idiots. LOL.
Harold, you just wait 'til your father sees the gum on the back of your pants!

Okay, did you not just say that a LITTLE girl said that. You act like it was an adult saying that she should've had sources to back up her statement.
^ Oh yeah, that reminds me of when I was with some friends Memorial Day weekend, and the one girl was scared to death to ride Sky Trek because she thought it would drop really fast and she's scared of heights.
I've heard people saying ignorant things like these in line. Sometimes I have the need to correct them but they are all ignorant DEE DEE DEEs (Carlos Mencia).
Ok last year. My mom and Dad are out tanning at hurricane harbor and i told them i'd be in the theme park area meeting up one of my long time freinds. and were over by the hurricane harbor entrance gate and this lady and her husband were like talking and they come up and say hey do you know where the entrance to hurricane harbor is. i busted out laughing. i was gunna tell them it was somewhere else but i didn;t
I was talking to my personal trainer about SFGAm, and he tells me he's from Georgia and that he's visited the Six Flags there.
I reply, "Oh, that's cool."
And he proceeds to tell me, very authoritatively, that "Six Flags Over Georgia is way bigger than Six Flags Great America, and SFOG is the oldest Six Flags ever."
It was a total *facepalm* moment.
I let him bask in his ignorance though, mostly because I didn't feel like playing teacher that day.
I was in line for American Eagle and this guy was telling his son all about the ride. Too bad the closest thing to actually being a true fact was, "This ride has like a 90 degree angle drop". Which, if you really think about it (sarcasticaly), is a real seller to a kid that's afraid to go on it. And the older brother wasn't much help.
Another time, also involving american eagle, I was exiting the ride under the big tent (if you will) and these people were going in through the exit. They ask me, "Is this where the ride is?" I'm like, "No you have to go around the other side of the rails."
They started walking to Dare Devil Dive and as I walked away towards Iron wolf, they were there maybe 45 seconds later still looking for the entrance. (DEE DEE DEE!)
I've seen people go to the wrong side of the railings for AE but not that bad. But I will admit, for people who don't know very well the entrance to AE is kinda confusing.
Yesterday I went to the park and when I was standing in line for Richochet, I heard some kid going, "I wanna go on the Eagle! It has a really big drop that goes into a tunnel!" HaHa
