Hmmm very cool. Is there a way to get a copy of this?
And since were on the topic of music played at the park, doesn anyone know that song that is played in BTR's station? Its kinda like a dance/techno thing.
Based on the music I was hearing in the park yesterday, its not going to be quite as easy to make a cd anymore. I was hearing beatles, and a whole slew of more recent music that definately wasn't there before. I kinda like it, I get sick of the same music all the time. Especially when I spend enough time in one section of the park to hear it start repeating.
sure beats the venga boys...
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"

Nope, just plays a wide variety of decades music. They use MP3s, like on an Ipod.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.
Hear ye, hear ye: "After 45 years, Six Flags has stopped smoking."
i think it would be funny if out of nowhere six flags started playing like slipknot right at the entrance or some like...not six flagsish music...stimmt.
So anyways, (back on topic), ragingbull346, do you think you might be able to upload all these songs on some type of site (putfile, megaupload, etc.) so it would be MUCH easier for the rest of us to get these songs? Just an idea instead of you sending us all CD's

OH NO! NEVER!
I'd prefer the theme music to stay in the park and not be replaced by crummy commercialism! The decades 'soundtracks' already ruined the theming of County Fair, Yukon, and Hometown. It's like I said a hundred times with the advent of MP3 I was hoping all the soundtracks would be restored to their full lengths since most of them were cut short when they converted them to CD from reel-to-reel.

Unfortunately that is not allowed as that music is subject to copyright laws etc. ITunes can get you most of the popular songs. The ones specifically for Six Flags, not really sure on the legal aspects of those.
Like anyone gives a crap 'bout copyright these days. C'mon, support libertarian freedoms and be a pirate. Arr....
Anyway, it must have taken a while to come up with that list, unless someone else already listed it somewhere? I'd get bored, just listening to the music trying to name it, but I see how the place would be much boring without music. What's the song they play during the parades each night? All I know is that it's some kind of remix, and all I can understand is "dancing in the streets."
