I got a 2GB iPod nano for Christmas. It holds 500 songs, and I love it!

Eagles Fan, don't tell me you got that car kit. The FM transmiters just plain suck. Even if they say "High Powered", they suck. Just go with a Cassette Tape converter that has the wire going into any headphone jack. It works A LOT better.

My XM receiver (Roady 2, I may be getting the Roady XT) has sound quality identical to the CD player built in and uses an FM transmitter. If you notice the sound starting to crackle, that's definately a sign of weakening batteries.

I'm having trouble with iTunes, its saying there's no ipod connected when there is.

I like the Bose ones, but they're kind of clunky. Not sure what they're called, but they were on display at Target.

Try another USB device see if that works.

Have you fixed your problem? You Might need to download drivers for the iPod. Also, make sure you update your iPod to the most recent version (firmware).
