Has anyone here seen Wicked? I was wondering if anyone but me has seen it. I saw it on the 7th of January and thought it was totally amazing. So here's your chance to speak up if you want to, or even if you don't.
my aunt was supposed to go with me last saturday, but she found out she has lukemia and is in the hospital still, and so my cousin, who is a huge fan of music and theater went with me. My aunt says if she has any money left after she overcomes her cancer (it was caught early, and the doctor guaranteed us it is can be cured), she wants to buy more tickets so she can see it. I told her I'd go again!
I just finished reading the book not that long ago. It was one of the best books I have read in a long time.
Now, I can't wait to go see the play.
Has anyone both read the book and seen the play? If so, how do they compare? Just curious.
I heard from many people that the Chicago version is actually better than the broadway version, they say Ana Gasteyer is funner and more lively. I'm sure it will still be great.
I'd also like to see Spamalot that looks hilarious.
When I visited Chicago in July of last year, I saw the play. I thought that it was excellent. I even bought a green monkey from the show and placed it on the rear view mirror in my car.
I have been wanting to see that since i started going to school in Chicago, but I haven't gotten a chance yet. All of my friends have said it was pheonominal.
RIP: Trailblazer and Deja Vu...heck, even Alien Encounter
well good luck getting tickets! The tickets go way too fast. I got mine back in october, and just saw it last saturday. if you get them now, you'll be waiting for awhile.
IT'S AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! One of the best musicals ever. I thought it was so spectacular when I saw it in January, that I'm going again sometime in April.

"And that farm girl walked off with slippers off a dead woman? She must have been raised in a barn!" ~Wicked, an excellent musical
well i didn't get any tickets, but oh well, i'll live. There are new actresses now, so if anyone got tickets expecting to see Ana Gasteyer playing the wicked witch, you're SOL
