The 10th is what I meant to write. Really mad about Tech college funding right now.
Candy: What you lookin' at? Otis B. Driftwood: I'm lookin' at you, mama. Candy: Yeah, you see something you like? Otis B. Driftwood: Maybe. I set my standards pretty low, so I'm never disappointed.

A limited number of ACE members were invited to media day. Well actually all ACE members were invited on a first come first serve basis. They got 2 shifts, one i would assume mainly for media from 4am-9am, then a second shift 9am-2pm which I would assume would be mostly shooting B-Roll.
Favorite Wood Coasters: The Voyage, Ravine Flyer II, Thunderhead, Balder Favorite Steel: Voltron Nevera, Steel Vengeance, Expedition GeForce, Olympia Looping Parks visited: 232, Coasters Ridden: Steel: 894, Wood: 179, Total: 1073

Anybody know if they can get me into media day? Please. It would be greatly appreciated and I'd be very happy. Message me if you can. (Thanks in advance if anybody can.)
This is Hank Salemi, Park President of Six Flags Great America. There is still a good bit of work left to do on X Flight before we open it but I rode it for the first time yesterday and I was blown away. It is an incredible coaster. I don’t want to give away any of its secrets, you will have to ride it to uncover those, but let’s just say it's smoother than Bull and better than Batman!
Best 2011 Moment: "I lost my phone on Raging Bull!" "WELL I LOST A SOCK!!!" Best 2012 Moment: "No good! DREAM ON!" Best 2013 Moment: "I came here for Auntie Anne's pretzels and coasters......in that order!"
That's a pretty dumb thing to say. Someone in the position that Salemi is in should know how to build hype for a ride without creating unrealistic expectations that won't be met and will lead to disappointment. This is like the Bulls going after LeBron James and Dwayne Wade a few seasons ago and then ending up with, uh, Carlos Boozer.
I'll be the first to admit if I was wrong, but there is no way that the three other Wingriders are forceless gimmick coasters that rely on looking neat and nothing else while SFGAm's is an epic masterpiece.
It's not a dumb thing to say. If HE likes it more, HE likes it more. He didn't say the forces were better, not everyone needs tons of forces to love rides. I have been on Wild Eagle and its a fun ride just not a top 10 ride. Didn't feel gimmicky to me. I guess if the Wing riders are, so are inverts, flyers, floorless, etc.
