When I say this, please don't judge this on the ride itself but rather on how it looks. Also, I want to point out that sometimes rides just look better at night while some rides might look better during the day. Sometimes, it doesn't matter.
BEST Looking rides
1. D Vu' (day and night)
2. Superman Ultimate Flight (day only)
3. Revolution The Ride (This proves that this topic is based on looks alone.) (day only)
4. The Orbit (day only)
5. Condor (day and night)
6. Whirlgig (night only)
7. Triple Play (night only)
WORST Looking rides
1. Hometown Fun Machine (night and day).
2. Batman The Ride (night and day)
3. The Orbit (night only) The lighting on this ride looks really bad at night. The bulbs are different colors. Yes, I know that there are reds and blues, but the blue bulbs aren't all the same color.
4. Ricochet (night and day)
5. Logger's Run and Ice Mountain Splash (day and night)
"I've been staring at the world, waiting. All the trouble and all the pain we're facing. Too much light to be livin' in the dark. Why waste time? We only got one life. Together we can be the CHANGE. So go and let your heart burn bright"
Aero, those would be:
V2 (well, V2)
SUF-Superman: Ultimate Flight
DJV-Deja Vu
RB-Raging Bull
IW-Iron Wolf
FF-Fiddler's Fling
LR-Logger's Run
AE-American Eagle
I think The Orbit lighting is not bad I like it alot ( regarding to he first post ) and in the day time the looks arent as bad either. I think DeJa Vu has the best color while The Orbit and Condors have the best lighting.
No matter how hard it is...Never EVER give up. The real failure is those who dont try.
The Orbit lighting is awesome, so is Triple Play's lighting. I think the Eagle looks great at night (minus the paint job that's needed). I like how the light shines on the wood, it sort of glows.
Raging Bull looks absolutely awesome at night.
I don't think any rides look that bad at night.
Night certainly has its perks at Six Flags; all the lights "lighten" up and glow the place.
AE- needs a paint job!!
BTR- better in that really dark blue!!
All other rides look good to me.
"There should be a B.O. squad that patrols the city like a "Smell Gestapo". To sniff 'em out, strip 'em down, and wash them with a big, soapy brush..."
"Why is nice bad? What kind of a sick society are we living in when nice is bad?"
they painted a section last off season, the lifthill and half the drop on the blue side. I think that's a fairly decent indicator that they plan to clean up or even paint the rest of the ride sometime in the near future (next few years), it really doesnt look that bad though right now. Anyone ever see rolling thunder at SFGAdv before it was repainted?
