Maxx Force NEW FOR 2019

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

I wonder if STT was closed today due to construction being very near its exit path? When I walked to the exit of Sky Trek Tower I got shot some dirty looks by workers while I took some pictures of the Maxx Force train in the storage shed.

Damn, there are still un-grouted footers, at least 1-2 weeks before they can even consider testing

That que looks hella small... like I get it’ll have switchbacks but it’s like Goliath sized. Which i guess after 2015, works fine butttt looks like we’re gonna have a massive portable que set up yet again.

I was gonna say after its first years it shouldn't be that bad of a line but its right in front of the park so I expect to have lines every year

When you have a lot of high schoolers at the park, they don't tend to run Sky Trek Tower, so it's like; why have it open? They must have 20 people everytime to run that ride. The people that ride it the most are parents with kids.

Go check out Marcus’ insta. He posted a video from inside the station and at the end the train moves. So that clearly means that all power and controls are hooked up. So exciting!! Also the trains are 16 passenger trains

I just checked his story and it was cool just to see it move even those few inches. I cannot wait for this to open. I was looking at old videos of Hypersonic XLC last night and I know this will be just as awesome!!!!

^Here are 2 more recently built S&S launch coasters in China with almost the same launch as Maxx Force (though these two go to 83 mph) if you haven’t seen these before. Probably higher quality video than the old Hypersonic POVs. I am pretty sure these two are mirrored layouts if I recall. Can’t wait!

It doesn't really prove it's ready for testing. The dude from WGN wanted to see it (talking about it tomorrow), so they took it out for him to film on it. I don't know what un-grouted footers means, but if FParker says they are, I believe him. He knows a lot more than a lot of people know about rides.

Probably a couple of construction workers pushing the train from behind.
