Although it seems far away Fright Fest is only about a month and a half away. I went on the FF website yesterday and found that Apocalypse (the maze in Roaring Rapids) was not listed. All the other mazes from last year were there except Apocalypse. Could we be seeing a new maze this year? We didn't get a new maze last year so it is possible. Also, the scares zones Massacre Ball and Nightmare Hollow (werewolves) have also bit the dust. Are we seeing New scare zones also. My favorite scare zone last year was by far Underworld. If SF can add something like that with loads of theming and good scare actors I would love it. Also regarding shows, Ringmaster's Cabaret is the only show listed as returning so far. What do you guys think about Fright Fest this year?
1.) Steel Vengeance 2.) Maverick 3.) Goliath (SFGAM) 4.) Top Thrill Dragster 5.) Mystic Timbers Ragin Cajun and Iron Wolf went from Six Flags Great America to Six Flags America. I guess they weren't GREAT anymore.
Well some other six flags (like Magic Mountain) have made announcements recently about their fright fests and new stuff there, so I think we will be hearing some news very soon.
They say there isn't a spot in the park where rusting metal or peeling paint is at least 15 feet away from you.
The Fright Fest shows have been put on the website.

Not a Haunted House person, so not positive if this is new info, but the Visit Lake County facebook page says:
There's a new haunt headed to Six Flags Great America/Hurricane Harbor's Fright Fest presented by Snickers® and it's the Hell Fest Movie Haunted House. Also, a little told us that the Gurnee, Illinois park has a new attraction planned for 2019!!! The attraction announcement comes on August 30 and Fright Fest runs Sept. 15-Oct. 28. Stay tuned. #LetsGoLakeCounty Enjoy Illinois
Can't wait for Fright Fest, although I'm a bit sceptical since they turned on the Christmas lights in Hometown Square, and then some guy comes around and says that Fright Fest is cancelled because the Christmas lights are turned on .

Just saying, don't get your hopes up but, Fright Fest announcements might be announced tomorrow. Last year they announced them on August 17 so if they were to continue that trend the 2018 announcements would be announced tomorrow. So keep your eyes peeled.

Not necessarily but most likely. She was performing during 4th of July Fest this year. So who knows.

^ Honestly ... no. I mean her shows are ok but it's boring seeing the same things over and over again. For me LAFF is the best show in the park during Fright Fest.

No doubt, LAFF is best.

This actually sounds really cool, and heavily themed like something out of HHN at Universal Studios! Hopefully it is really well themed and not just a couple scarers, some smoke, and some props in a series of small hallways.

Looks like the they are extending Fright Fest to run until the 31st again this year. They didn't update the Fright Fest event page, but they did add three more days to the schedule up to Halloween and added a Halloween event.
