Cedar Fair buying our park would be either the best thing to ever happen to it, or the worst. They might see us as Cedar Points primary regional competitor and pull a geauga lake and cut additions back big time. I doubt they'd do that though, considering the Chicagoland market alone is over 9 million people strong, but there would always be that possibility to consider. On the other hand which is far more likely, nothing but big investments, park beautification, and tons of improvements would come. Which is a risk i'd be more than happy to take lol.
Because i really am sick of clones, bad operations, and run down buildings that come with the Six Flags brand. Especially since i visited so many Cedar Fair parks this past year. I mean even Michigan's Adventure, Cedar Fairs trash can, is better maintained than most Six flags parks...

Six Flags could try to purchase the land across Washington Street, and build a bridge connecting it with the main park, just like Kentucky Kingdom did, and dedicate that land to several large attractions, a maintenance building for them, etc. However, this is just wishful thinking and wild speculation on my behalf. That might not even be possible with zoning regulations, safety rules etc.

"Zoning Regulations" are not set in stone things that can never be altered ever. IF Six Flags wanted to build somewhere they can't currently build, they could ask the Village for an exception or a change to the law. IF the Village said no and Six Flags still REALLY REALLY wanted to build somewhere they can't currently build, they could get involved in local Gurnee politics and try to get people elected who would agree with them. But Six Flags doesn't appear to have any interest in expansion, so it's all a moot point.
CoasterDemon seems to be under the false impression that building new rides and coasters is as easy and simple as it is in Roller Coaster Tycoon. Face it, the Park is not expanding their borders or buying new land just to build new coasters, the large loop with a side loop layout works well for the park and that is how the layout will remain for years to come.
The total coaster count is likely to stay at a maximum of 15 for at least the next 5 or 6 years. To build more coasters, other large rides and especially old tracked rides like the flumes and the Whizzer will need to be removed. Sadly a giga coaster or RMC T-Rex will not fit in the Buccaneer Battle or Trailblazer spots.
It has the phrase "Fedor Shalyapin Valletta" which is a Russian ship that was one of the biggest, and was scrapped in 2004....same year King chaos came into the park....hmm.....
Not a fan of Snapchat, I wish they would use twitter, facebook, or youtube instead. Anyways, the first thought I had was Hurricane Force 5 at Fiesta Texas.

It's not like you'd be missing anything by not actually watching it - with something as short and basic as that was, reading the descriptions here is just as useful. I hope we get a more "official" seeming one at some point.
Thought - they aren't usually as simple as "we'll show you the ride that's being taken out". Maybe they'll show a few rides and we'll be "chasing the storm" until it gets to it's final spot?
