Correct me if I'm wrong but is this the earliest the show in the Grand Music Hall has ever started? April 29th where I think most of the time it's been Memorial Day weekend.

I highly doubt "ever", if just because they used the care a lot more about these things in the past so I suspect that decades ago they'd open them with the park. But it's early for modern day.
They have a pretty big shows list this year, including using a few places that seem new (Camp Cartoon? Outside Justice League?), but still don't appear to be using the Pictorium. Hmm.
Very disappointing that the Mac and Cheese Bowls didn't make the Dining Pass.
New Menu Items: Tacos and Mac & Cheese Bites Enjoy new flavors at our taco location. This new dining spot features your choice of seasoned steak, carnitas, or chicken tacos, loaded on corn tortillas with cilantro, onion, and lime. You can also order agua de Jamaica and Horchata. Additionally, try our new mac & cheese chicken boats. Three boats made out of chicken are stuffed with creamy mac and cheese, bacon, and pico de gallo.

Anybody else notice that according to the Dining Pass Guide, the yellow all season refillable bottle is ONLY available on the dining pass, and all that's available to everybody else is a red one only good for that day?

If true, that's some serious bullsh@t for those of us without the dining pass.
Dippin Dots Cake Fried Oreos Rita's Ice Maryland Fries (What are those?) Bacon Cheddar Ranch Fries Burritos Turkey Legs Loaded Mac & Cheese Bowls Fried Shrimp Chicken Wings Pork Roll & Cheese Sandwich 2 Hot Dogs With Fries (We only get 1) Loaded Dogs Tuna Salad Cold Cut Sandwiches Breakfast Options Deluxe Sandwich Options Bowl Of Comfort (Whatever that is) Fried Chicken with Biscuit Burgers (Jersey, Jersey Devil, Greek, Taxes & Bacon) Corndog Nuggets Uncrustable Salt and Vinegar Fries Bottled Water Apple Slices Fruit Salad Rice Bowl Taco Salad Cucumber Salad[/color]
Why do you think that is? Is it because there are less residential neighborhoods near by? There are definitely serial meal pass abusers at SFGAM, I'm wondering if that's why they get more options here i.e. less people coming to 'dinner' every day at the park. Thoughts?
-Area in front of metal detectors got new concrete -A fair bit of new paint at few buildings -'Take 5' is now gone, and operations are now a lot faster. -Yes, flat rides do have shorter cycles now. -The park now has Bavarian Pretzels instead of the regular Super Pretzels(and let me tell you, they are a LOT softer). -In addition to the repaint, Eagle is getting a bit of trackwork done in the giant helix. -Viper's retrack seriously helps the ride(the bottom of the first drop no longer jackhammers your spine 6 feet underground) -Demon seems to be running a LOT smoother this year(@RollingCoasting) -Ride Info Center is replacing SF Outfitters -Most of Joker's cars are on -Lobster's cars are all laying around Sky Trail's spot -Surprisingly, both BB and Logger's were running. -That new Toilet Game(Called 'County Fair Game of Thrones') is in the County Fair Games area by Revolution -There's a Bottle Flipping game at the area by BB -There's new Wait Time signs for some attractions. They now have a watch picture, with the time being shown inside the watch(additionally, they now have a 5 Minute Wait sign) -The Yellow Bottle is still being sold publicly, but it has less advertising, and is at fewer locations. -A few new Caricatures are around the park -ICEE machines now allow for you to buy one-use cups for $2.99 for small, and $3.99 for Regular. Souvenir Bottle is $7.99 with $2.99 refills -You can now buy the large prizes directly from the games for a rather ludicrous price($150-$250 depending on the location) -No sign of VR for Drop -The front area outside the park is now divided into 'zones' (Zone A is for buying tickets and such, B is the metal detectors and entrance, C is the exit and Guest Relations, and D is the Harbor Pass Entrance)
That's all I can think of off the top of my head. If there's anything else I remember, I'll let you guys know.
I'm really looking forward to this season! All the little improvements really help the park become a much nicer place!
To add on to that guy with a stick -there is new concrete outside grand music hall -Grand music halls façade that was damaged by the fire two years ago is finally getting replaced -the reflection pond has been repainted -two new light posts have been placed on the mound in front of the entrance
I posted a full update in the Sneak Peak thread but here's a couple more things:
1) All rides were running two trains except X Flight, which only had one. 2) The Carousel Plaza gift shop got repainted. 3) New Show in Grand Music Hall is XFZ 360 (something like that) with lights, music, lasers and bubbles. Opens April 29th. 4) Mucho Nacho was not open. 5) Sticky Fingers by Fiddler's Fling got a new sign. 6) Lobster won't be ready til early summer according to the sign. 7) I heard Viper had some trackwork done. Still seemed a bit more "bumpy" than normal but yeah

I had one of these at SFOG. They looked absolutely fantastic, but then they were just okay. However, they are still far superior than the pretzels we have had in both taste and softness. A very welcome change.
