Solo support...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

Ya know what's kinda strange about that "misterious solo support"? It's got track laying all around it... I'm not saying that it is in the ground, but that track laying all around it could be track they are going to put up in that area... Idunno, it just seems kinda strange to me...

Not to sound stupid, but what would a solo support on S:UF mean?

We're just calling it a solo support right now since we don't know what its for and its just standing all by itself out there, though there is some track laying on the ground by it.

Well, it could mean that S:UF is not S:UF... It could mean that we aren't getting a clone. If it is an original, it could be under the name S:UF, or under some othere name... (Obviously a Superman name...)

Yeah but I guess what I'm asking is, where on the ride is this solo support, and are there any solo supports on the other two S:UF's?

Finally another update... it looks like in some of the pics that the solo support is now over by the the location where the pretzel loop should be... But its hard to tell.

Is there only one part of the ride that requires a solo support? I'm still a little bit confused about all of this. How would you know that it is a clone or not by one support when you can't see very well into the park?

We called it the Solo Support cause it was out in the middle of nowhere... Now its in the spot that makes the rides look like a clone.. The Solo support is going to be for the pretzal!!!

Gotcha, I thought when you said solo you were referring to a support that was shaped like an I, just a single poled support instead of the upside down |_| looking support where the track runs underneath the cross beam.

Okay, thanks for setting me straight, I was feeling a little stupid there for a little bit, but I got it now. I guess instead of solo support, orphan support, or hobo support would have made a lot more sense.
