Did anyone ever wonder what they are going to do with American Eagle's lines in the tent that is never used. Can't they put a flat ride there? That linw was always on my nerves it was never used everytimei've been there. :x

When there were actually long wait times for American Eagle, that area has been used. There is already a motion simulator on the other side of the queueing area, but I don't think a new flat ride will go underneath the tent anytime soon.

When I was a little kid before Batman was around the line for Eagle was always under the tent. Sometimes the line is still huge for Fright Fest, but it will never be full like it once was.

When I went to Fright Fest last year that area WAS used because the lines were long.

Yes, the queue area under the tent sometimes does get used, but it never even comes close to filling up completely. The Eagle probably has the most switchbacks of any coaster in the park. Take a good look at it next time you visit and you will see that its a massive amount of switchbacks. They could just keep the back switchbacks under the tent for possible overflow and remove the front ones and install a flat. BUT, it probably will never happen.

Remember Eagle did debut as the world's tallest coaster, that's why it probably has such a long line and a lot of switchbacks. Back then I'm assuming it was "the" coaster to ride.

i think maybe once i had to wait in those long lines under the tent, and that was last year.....but i guess they could tear out enough to make room for a flat, but i dont think thats gonna happen anytime soon :D

That is true, but I am talking about the present, not what was going on 15-20 years ago. All of the switchbacks were utilized during Eagle's early years and I found myself waiting in those lines back then.Back when Eagle debuted, you didnt have alot of choices in coasters. Here is what they had in 1981Eagle, Demon, Whizzer, Tidal Wave.

Last summer on a busy day I waited all the way back in the big tent, right up to the end of it. It wasn't as long of a wait as I thought it would be.
