Does anyone have any reliable information on what really happened to power dive? It now resides in a few pieces on the employee parking lot in the back of the park. Any info would be helpful

What do you mean by what really happened to power dive? Too expensive to run, expensive to maintain...just a few possible reasons it could have been taken down, not to mention how many ride ops it took to run the thing. If you do a search(at the top of the forums) for PowerDive you should get a few results.

But Deja Vu and V2 are some of the parks major attractions, PowerDive was just another thrill ride. A thrill ride should not cost as much as Deja Vu or V2 to run.

Ok Heres the real answer weve all been waiting for................Mike just confirmed with the manager of park safety that there are 2 reasons that it was removed. One,- The state funded ride inspectors wanted a retrofit of all of the safety mechanisms a very expensive undertaking and TWO- LOL Puke....thats right too many people puked on other people on the ride. causing a lot of clean ups and unhappy guests. So there we have it
