It may not be clone, but it has a clone. Titan at SFOT is pretty much the same coaster.
Yes, Titan is pretty much the same as Goliath, but Titan has an extra helix that Goliath doesn't. Don't forget SFoT copied SFMM's Goliath but SFoT wanted Titan a bit different from Goliath. So in essance Titan is a bit better..........................

I kind of hate the idea of cloned rides. I think that it would be better if parks got all custom designs insted of having bunch of clones. I think that it would make it more exiting.
All custom coasters would be cool. When I went to SFMM I didnt ride Deja Vu B:TR but I rode Viper because its a bit different than Shockwave. I would have liked it better if all of their rides were unique...oh well.
Viper is a modified mirror-clone of the Cyclone, and yes, Viper at Magic Mountain is a decendant of Shockwave and GASM at Great Adventure. Each successive one I guess got more refined, with Viper as the pinacle. The main difference from Shockwave/GASM and Viper is Viper has a 180 degree turn after the first loop, and no murderous turn into the midcourse breaks.
GASM was improved on Shockwave's design by changing the side to which the third loop went which gave it more room to turn into the MCBR. Then Viper improved on GASM's design, but viper is a lot different from Shockwave and GASM. It almost is an original ride. Except that it contains the same elements. The cars don't turn around before they go up the lift and at the end the final brake run is parallel(I cant spell today) to the station.
you can't believe it - you didn't mean it
but they saw you do it and they know your name
