I heard there was a dolphine show at great america at one time. Is this true? I think I heard it was in the Yankee Harbor By Tidal Wave. Has any one riden TD before? Sounds like a cool ride. Wish I could of riden it.
SFGAm had a dolphin show and a High Dive show. I think when I saw it once it was near the Picnic Grove area, where there are sometimes a Looney Tunes show. And, I didn't get a chance to ride Tidal Wave, but if you want to get a ride on it, it's now Greezed Lightnin' at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom (new this year).
i also heard there was a dolphin show and a high diving show.....i think it was located in the wilderness theater......you can catch a glimpse of it during fright fest when they open up that area for Necropolis..

Yes, the Dolphin Show and High Diving show used to be at the Wilderness Theatre. SFGAm doesn't use it that much any more . On the brochure it just says it's used for special events.
The Dolphin show and High Dive show occured when Marriott owned the park. The Wilderness Theatre is still there and if you want to take a glance at it, just walk to the back of Camp Cartoon Network and peak over the wall. You will see the entrance of the theatre. Before Camp Cartoon Network was built, that area used to be a scenic pathway leading up to Wilderness Theatre. It was actually quite nice. Here is a pic of the Dolphin Show from the late 70'shttp://home.attbi.com/~geoff2222/sfgam/dolphin1.JPG
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
Ive seen that picture a few times. All I know is that when Marriot owend it the dolphin show was in the Wilderness Theater and the U.S high diving team also performed there in the late 80s through the early 90s.
