Crowds on Father's Day?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

My family and I are palnning a trip to SFGAm on Father's Day, and I was wandering if any one ever went on Father's Day and if so, was it crowded?

It can get pretty crowded sometimes. But then again most people will be home with their dads. I dont know what it will be like this year.

I've been to SFGAm on Father's Day, but this was years ago. The weather is typically nicer in early-mid June, compared to early-mid May. I wouldn't expect a Mother's Day-like crowd where the park doesn't seem too crowded.

I agree with joker. All the men in my family like coasters and the women dont. All my friends dads like coasters and their moms dont. Im not saying all dads like coasters and all moms dont like its a fact. This past mothers day there was hardly any1 there because of the high winds and practically nothing was open.

Could you bring a friend for free on mother's day?

Yes, Season Pass holders could bring one friend for free on Mother's Day. There is not a similar day for Father's Day, though.

It's very realistic that it may be more crowded for fathers day. Each day it gets later into the season, there are more people at the parks it seems.

Yeah it does seem that way. Especially on those hot summer days.

Yep, nicer weather seems to bring more people to the park. But, whenever I've gone to SFGAm on a Sunday, it wasn't as bad as a typical Saturday.

See I've had bad experiences on Sundays, but I'll be going to six flags this sunday, so I guess I gamble with my park days.

I'm sure some Sundays can be bad. It's hard to predict what a specific day will be like unless you possess a crystal ball. Hopefully, zak, your day at SF this Sunday will not be one of those bad Sundays.
