People With Spyderman Dolls?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby NoUseForAName on May 5th, 2003, 6:30 pm
Yesterday I saw kids walking around the park with Spyderman dolls. I thought Sixflags was mainly D.C. comics but I guess not. Or they just want people to get back into "Super Heros" since S:UF is built.

You thought it was because it is Marvel. I heard Heros got Marvel and DC comic merchandise. Strange, DC was Warner Brothers, and Six Flags used to be owned by Time Warner, but how did Marvel get in this picture this year?

I also noticed the Spiderman merchandise at Heros coming out of S:UF. It's hard to not notice because that's what catches your eyes. Also, in County Fair, I saw some Simpsons merchandise as well.

It looks like SF sells everything now. I saw simpsons and also a great deal of Spongebob squarepants characters being carted around the park.

Yeah I dont get what is up with all this Marvel comic merchandise i.e- Spiderman dolls, Spiderman t-shirts, Hulk t-shirts, Punisher shirts, etc. I guess Six Flags also has the right to have Marvel comic merchandise as well as DC and Warner Bros. but I dont know.

Yeah, I thought it was weird that they had Spyderman dolls in the shop where you come out for Superman. I thought that was kinda funny. My friend Kim was convinced that Six Flags' new ride was Spyderman and not Superman and she didn't believe me until I showed her on the internet. haha

Please stop disgrasing the best superhero movie from the last 20 years by calling him Spyderman. That is not his name, it is Peter Parker, also known as The Amazing Spiderman, not Spyderman. This will be the end of my rant.

Also, a few years ago, a few of the stuffed animal prizes were Disney-like. I remember winning a giant Tigger and a small Winnie the Pooh, but the label on it wasn't from Disney.

Sooooo sorry, I don't really follow comics. I don't have time to. Never was into them either, I spelled it the way it was in the forum's title.

T_Biggs stop disgrasing one of the best super heros of all time. Its not Spiderman or The Amazing Spiderman. Its Spider-Man or The Amazing Spider-Man. At least you got Peter Parker right.

Misspelling and me don't go together when you spell something I love wrong (yet I myself was getting it wrong) or when you are spelling the name of a well known ride at the park wrong. Oh, and Jeff may not be liked, but how he runs his site is what makes parks like him (SFGAm, PKI, CP, and Holiday World are the first that come to mind.) Don't knock that guy, he knows what he's doing, and there is no need to rip on him here. Thats what AIM is for
