Just checked the weather at weather.com and it looks like its going to be a cool and rainy opening day with scattered Thunderstorms being predicted and a low of 42 degrees. Hopefully this weather won't interfere with the opening of Superman. :?

i hope not!!! but, it doesn't matter to me...i'll go rainy or sunny!!! besides, if it does rain, maybe less people will come and if they decide to open S:UF, there might be a shorter line!!! :D

Saturday. Mostly clear. Low in the lower 40s. High near 65 This is from the National Weather Service. I post this just to prove that predicting weather 7 days ahead is too unpredictible (i want to be a meteorologist, so i know a bit about predicting weather). So I wouldnt get stuck in thinking that it will be cold and rainy. Tribune said high 72 and Partly Cloudy. But whatever the weather, I will be there!

yea for real.. i wouldn't worry. i got those things all last summer for gurnee and they changed everyday and i wouldn't take it until the day before, look at what is forcaster on may 2nd for may 3rd. i've already seen it change on weatherchannel.com, it DID say scatter showers and now it says heavy thunderstorms, it'll change again i guarantee too.

According to weather.com though all around Saturday had rain around it too, so its obvious that Thunderstorms will be in the area during the weekend. Im hoping this forecast stays though, forecast like these keep people away from the park which means more Superman for me when the rain stops. :)

I feel as though I have a duty to inform you of this. Weather Bug is full of spyware. Weather.com has a program just like it, and it has none (as far as I know.) So, if you don't like the idea of some company learning your browsing habits and other information about you, switch! If you don't mind, by all means, continue supporting one of the scourges of the internet.

I'm aware of Weatherbug's spyware. That's why I have both Spybot and Ad-Aware :D

It will change... Last year I learned to never really believe the online weather reports until about 2 days before... And even then it was wrong a lot. So, I'm guessing it'll change.

Just checked Weather.com again this morning and its already changed to partly cloudy. I would have prefered the other forecast better since less people would show up to the park. :)

We don't care! We are gonna be there opening day. Coasterdude316, we'll look for u. i'll feel stupid if i walk up to someone and it isn't you though

i should speak up for all the weathermen out there (i want to be one). It is hard to predict what the weather will be 1 week in advanced. Heck, most of the time it is hard to predict what the weather will be tommrow. Its like doing a complex math equation with 70 viariables. Not easy. If any one of thoes variables is off the whole outcome will change. But on a side note--What coasters will run in the rain and how hard must it be raining to shut thoes coasters down? I've never ridden a coaster in the rain, but i have stuck my head out of a car driving in a rainstorm at 70 MPH. It hurts. :)

every time it starts to rain, i've been in line about to go on Batman and they close it.....we wait for like 30 min, get out of line, and then it stops raining and they open the ride again!!! GRRR!!! that always happens...lol

I sure hope it doesn't rain... I'm thinking it won't, but who am I to say. But yeah, I wouldn't worry about the weather until a couple days before Saturday when the predictions will be a little more precise.
