What if...

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

What if S:UF is closed on opening day? I remember that Raging Bull was closed on it's opening, and i ended up going the next weekend to ride it. Oh well, it's a possibility, but I hope it doesn't happen.

You don't have to worry.... there is no doubt in my mind or in any other persons mind about it not being open on time. They are so far already and are just about done anyhow. I'm 100% positive it will be open May 3rd.

Yeah, opening day is pretty much a definite for S:UF. I just hope ours doesnt run into the same problems that the one at SFGADv is having. At least according to this trip report.http://www.coasterbuzz.com/forum.aspx?m ... icID=30452
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

Wow, an evactuation on the first day. Not a good start, hopefully that will work itself out and the extended time before our opening gives them time to work all the problems out.

kinda slow....oh no!! :? when i saw it being tested earlier this week..... i saw it run twice and it was kinda slow. it looked like deja vu on really cold days when it looks like its gonna barley make it over the pretzel turn....yeesh! hopefully it will run alot smoother on opening day!!!~~~14 Dayz!!!~~~

That's too bad that the season started like that for the SFGAdv people. Hopefully whatever was wrong will be looked over for SFGAm. Also, sounds like S:UF and X-Flight or Batwing really strikes some conversation on what type of flyer is preferred. I haven't been on a B&M flyer so I really can't comment.

I have heard that the layouts for the vekoma flyers are better and that the seating is flatter than the B&Ms.
My Top 5: 1)TTD, 2)Millennium Force, 3)Raptor, 4)Deja Vu, 5)Raging Bull

Well all I can say is that the final helix and loop on X-Flight is extremely intense and I love it. I hope S:UF offers that same feeling.

What if its not operating on opening day?Go on another coaster! You'll have plenty of time to wait in 3 hour lines the rest of the summer.

Who knows, talk about whatever you want, it's a free for all... I was saying that if it's broken down then you can't ride all the rides because DV won't be open for the opening of that park. That's what I've heard on THIS website.

We are now 99% sure it will be open. The only way it won't is bad weather(which is not expected) or a terrible accident(I hope not).
