do you think gam's Deja Vu will aslo go through the train rehab? If it does I hope they do it in the rest of the offseason.

Yeah I'm guessing they did it during the off season. At least I'm hoping they did, cause it would be kinda stupid to be doing it when the park is open when they had the whole off season to do it.

Ha, took me a bit to pick up on that Travis. Im kind of slow though. As for Deja Vu im not counting on it being opened though, ive heard so many different rumors though I don't know what to believe. If it is open though, then great but im not going to get my hopes up. Same goes for a few other rides.

sfMM and sfog have had the trains off the track and they did something to them, but i dont know what they did. except the parks where open when they did this and i belive SFOG's is still closed.

I was at SFOG March 22nd and 23rd and it was on the track testing on the 22nd but on the 23rd it wasn't on the track. Kinda werid.

Here`s a funny story along the lines of train rehab, or at least the situation(s) that may have led to it... I remember this day distinctly. It was the last saturday in October 2001, and I had been unsuccessful at riding Deja Vu the past three weekends due to colder- than-normal weather conditions which kept the ride from running properly. Finally after waiting 5 hours, and watching countless dry runs, Deja Vu was good to go. I was on the first train that day. WOW!! What a great ride!!! After I exited I sat and watched DV run its course; forward and backward, forward and backward until... a train full of people being pulled up the first tower... Dropped!!! Into the cobra roll!! Into the Loop and.... totally missed the catchcar on the second tower. I laughed until I cried! It rolled back and forth for awhile, and was finally pulled up the tower and completed its course backward. I`ve seen this happen a few times throughout the 2002 season. With full trains.

ALL of the trains go through a rehab every offseason. From Deja Vu and Raging Bull all the way down to Whizzer and Sprokets.Deja Vu isn't going to be open on May 3rd. Don't argue, thats the facts. The crews haven't even been trained for it yet.Oh and, uh, Superman went through its first cycle on Sunday the 13th.Too bad you guys missed it. He He He.

Nothing would take that long. They've had plenty of time. If they are not trained, it is because it will not be open at the begining of the season, and therefore will not need a trained crew to run it, because it won't be running. If they could, they would have it open, and if it is going to be open, more than likely a crew would be trained.

Thanks Biggs.The crew not only has to go through training, but take a test (multiple choice) and then do minimum cycle times. For Deja Vu (as well as the other coasters) I believe it is 30 for new hires, and 20 for re-hires who had been certified for the ride the year before.

That's not major information, at least I don't think so...I think he would only get busted if he was giving out information for a new ride, or something secret like that.

Again, thank you T-biggs. At least someone wants to her.I know the risks. But I figured you folks might want to know whats going on. I could stop feeding it too you, but I choose not to. I think its fun telling you guys this stuff.
