I was scrolling through Great America's video on YouTube, and I came across a TV Spot from 1985. I decided to watch it and saw a ride that looked unfamiliar. If you start the video at 0:15, it shows a curved tunnel with lights. What ride is it? Link: https://youtu.be/Vqax8gSuGpA

My guess, with some of that not being at Great America, is that it was supposed to look like demon, but is not. With the "eagle" shot, you can pretty easily tell that it is not eagle. I think it is Colossus at magic mountain.

Most of that commercial looks like it was shot at SFMM, which means that the 0:15 attraction is probably Revolution.

It was assumed to be Revolution when that commercial was on TV... but I've yet to hear anyone who is a regular Magic Mountain guest who remembers Revolution having lights in the tunnel. Perhaps they did it for the commercial shoot? Tunnel lights are cool, but proved to be a slight issue at one point on our Demon; lights are gone from the top of the tunnel after idiots decided to throw rocks up while on the ride.

^ Hometown Fun Machine was originally Saskatchewan Scrambler in Yukon Territory, Orbit was originally Orleans Orbit in Orleans Place. (Now Mardi Gras)
