I'm bringing my brother to the park this week (probably Wednesday). We'll get there around 10:00 AM. He has weak legs and can't walk/stand for 10 minutes without a rest. I can get a wheelchair in the park, but I'm concerned the initial line to get into the park will wear him out. How long does it take to get through the park entrance lines in the early morning?
Too Long. I would argue that since they redesigned the entrance, Lines have been much worse to get in. Give him some soda and medicine and I wish you the best of luck.

Any place for him to sit while I go through the line?
^ There are plenty of places he could sit around the entrance while you wait in line. But you should definitely call the park and see if they'll arrange something to get you in faster or maybe bring out a wheelchair to use.
If you have Discover card, use the Discover Card entrance by Superman. It gets you in a lot faster. If you don't, the farthest right metal detector has some plant things he could sit on. Otherwise, good luck.
Probably a good idea to bring in your own wheel chair, But if you absolutely can't then it never hurts to ask people in line, just calmly explain the situation and hopefully they will understand. Other wise calling Six Flags directly would be your better answer and see if they would be willing to set something up, Though I have never heard of them doing anything like this. Aim for the shortest line and leave the bag in the car, then if you need to bring in a bag, make sure your brother is situated on a bench get your hand stamped then go get your bag then come back in. Best of luck to you and tour brother.
Spoke with Six Flags today. Unfortunately, there's nothing they can do for me. They recommended arriving before 9:00 AM or after 5:00 PM. However, from the previous comments in this thread, I'm hoping I can find a spot for my brother to sit until I get to the head of the queue, then call him over to get in. Alternately, we might try using my coworker's small tripod chair, then store it in a locker once we get into the park. Thanks to all for the ideas.
Things went well Wednesday, July 15. We arrived at the park at 11:00 AM and had paid for parking by 11:15 AM. Because of my brother's condition, we landed a disabled parking spot immediately in front of the entrance to the park. From there, it only took us a couple of minutes to walk through the metal detector and ticket counter. There was no line at all.
