For me the earlier the better. If it were up to me I would get to the gate, before the lot gate opened, park, and walk to Dunkin and get breakfast, or head to the drive through first and eat in the car. I have more than enough Fright Fest mixes to last a few hours. But its not and I'm going with slow people. X Flight still have big boy seats? If yes what row? Season Passers I'm looking in your general direction!

That's pretty much how I will be. With Metra it's either right on time or 2 hours early. That's a hard choice.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)
Thanks for the answers. Yeah I wish I either lived closer or drove myself, the driver is afraid to go fast (of course anything under 60 for me is slow [in a car anyways]) and the other has her own sense of time, which can really piss me off, but whatcha gonna do?
^ You sure about that? The park hasn't said anything about the Necropolis entrance and I have seen no evidence of any work being done to make a path around the other side of the theater.
^ Really? That is shocking. It's been great weather all week.
As for Necropolis, you enter and exit from the Yankee Harbor end. Necropolis dead ends at Goliath. You enter through Ragin' Cajun's station. Confused? So am I
I hope everything is up I'm not paying 142.11 to not see the park unfinishd and 1/2 decorated!!! That'll just piss me off. I am wondering if showtimes are going to be jumbled again this year. Better get back to bed get my last hour ten in!!!
At the park now, in the past few years it seems Fright Fest has been getting better, but this year it feels like they took a huge step backwards. Just a few things that make me feel this way are that there is honestly no theming in 7 Sins Cemetery, other than the one building that has been up since before the park closed, there are no other mausoleum or anything that even represent 7 Sins Cemetery. A cool thing is that there is a haunted path through the lazy river in the Bermuda Triangle. Necropolis is absolutely horrible. You enter through Ragin Cajun and exit at the normal spot. It is about half the size it used to be due to Goliath. Many people are confused where to exit and such. Where the guitar playing skeleton and axe girl door is isn't closed off from the rest of the building as in years past. I could go on and on about how bad Necropolis is this year in my opinion but I won't Overall the whole park is lacking any theming in my eyes. I know this is the first weekend but still it is pretty bad. They have a lot to do if they want to improve it. Hopefully they will be able to fix Necropolis and work on theming in the park. The pumpkin guys in front of Columbia Carousel now has a new voice and I believe says some different things. This visit has to be the most disappointing visit that I have made to the park ever especially for Fright Fest. I honestly think this is the worst Fright Fest from today's visit so I hope they work to improve it.
^ I pretty much have to agree with you, although today was still better than FF 2010 for me.
Basically, it just felt to me like the budget got cut. Some of the problems included:
- Tons of theming missing, although that could just be because they never start decorating early enough - Two less scare zones as Grim Hollow was cut (not Hellmouth as they previously posted) and Port Dread doesn't have actors - The amount of time the actors are out is shorter - Massacre Medical and especially Manslaughter Manor are really understaffed - Necropolis. It just doesn't work with this set up, and they only had 4 actors out when I went in.
There were still some improvements though. Sector 7 got a big overhaul with great new set pieces and costumes, definitely the best looking area. Wicked Woods and Abyss both improved a lot from last year, especially WW as it was packed with actors. Costumes and makeup look great all around, and outside of Necropolis all the actors were putting in a good effort and getting good scares. And then there's LaFF and TT2 which are always great of course.
So overall, just not a great start.
