So it kinda sounds like King Chaos goes down a lot. Also, when I was there early July, the moment it broke down, one of the towers swayed really violently from the sudden lockup. I'm really trusting of ride safety/integrity, but that looked really awful. Surprised me. Is the above just normal for KC's failures?
Just a small note about Goliath's sorta-single-rider-line:
Don't bother with it after 6 p.m., as they begin to shut down the permanent sections of the queue around that time, effectively freezing the temporary overflow section...which is where a single rider will be standing...not moving...for quite some time. They even announce over the speakers that guests can expect to stand in the same spot for an extended period. It makes zero sense to me — I can only figure that they want to make the line to seem longer so that less people will get in the queue. It's so bizarre, and with no single riders in the station, trains leave with empty seats.
^ Maybe that's something they do on busier days because I got in line at 6 tonight and didn't see that happen. I used the single rider as well and the grouper actually commented on how many single riders there were, with the single rider line reaching the back of the station.

It seems like they're trying to divert people from using the Single Rider Line on Goliath. I was once told that it might take half an hour for them to find me a seat, assuming nobody was in front of me. I was also informed that it really didn't save me any time, this was around 1. It obviously did, as I got the confused look from the party I was chatting with up to the SR cut point. It's always fun when you just disappear and they see you walking off the ride and they're still in line with another good 45 mins left.
It seems like the other side always wins on American Eagle Also, I've ridden Goliath 23 times in one day. HBU? (Sorry in advance for unnecessary commas and parenthesis every where)

goliath is a maintenance nightmare. I was there on Sunday and for the first time in 4 visits over 5 weeks it actually had both trains going each time i went passed it and when i rode it.

Goliath is still a coaster that needs to get it's bugs worked out. It has only been running for a few months, and that amount of time is not enough to get it working soundly. Granted it will have problems, it's still a new coaster.
I went on July 4th, and we did the ERT on Goliath on that day, it was only a 15 minute wait in line, but once we got into the station the ride broke down and we had to wait 30 minutes for it to be fixed. We were 15 feet from the front of the line, so we waited the extra 30 minutes while the maintenance guys and electricians went and climbed the lift hill to fix whatever the problem was up there.
It was worth the extra 30 minutes waiting for them to fix it.
