The 7.31 announcement has nothing to do with the new ride announcement.
Many parks in the Six Flags chain have posted similar videos and it’s already been leaked they will an announce and MVP sale for 2026 passes where all gold and prestige passes will come with the all parks passport for free if bought between 7/31 and 9/1

It could come out a day early for all we know
Old Great America was better, however I hope just a bit of that charm comes back
Apparently at Kings Island, most Peanuts merch is 40% off, which could mean that Six Flags isn't planning on renewing their deal with Peanuts Worldwide after this year. Thus, our new land wouldn't be themed to Peanuts. Cedar Fair previously severely discounted their I-305 merch before their deal for that expired, so the same logic could apply here.
I haven't heard about sales like this going on at any other SF parks, so I doubt Peanuts is leaving for good unless SF can't comply with Peanuts Worldwide's conditions that are part of the deal.

Even then, i think it's best we have Looney Tunes anyways because of how much they have tied themselves to Great America
