I can top all this.

Tonight I pushed Hamburger Technology to it's very limits and then some. Rather than look like a freak and just come out and say what it was, I'll just give the recipe, sounds slightly healthier that way.

Started with a pound of 95% lean ground sirloin
very little salt
some seasoned salt
half cup or so of bread crumbs
one pound of bacon(Scott Peterson brand this time, it was on sale), ground up in the food processor

mixed that up and formed patties, and cooked up a pair of them tonight (with 6 more of these beauties sitting in the freezer). Cooked them on the BBQ so at least some of the fat drips away leaving behind only it's bacony awesomeness that is created with a mix of 50% beef and 50% meat candy, aka bacon.

The cooked result was put on a bun with a slice of american pasteurized cheese-like product, with minimal amounts of ketchup and mustard, didn't want to overpower my new creation.

And now 3 hours later, my hands reek of bacon, the house reeks of bacon, and my burps taste of solid bacon. I can honestly say this was the greatest burger I've ever eaten in my life. Next time I cook one up, I may try and put bacon on top and see what happens. Besides of course for shaving about 15 weeks off my life. :)

Also of interest, my level of bacon research was not quite far enough along to come up with this on my own, so I was influenced by the following journal. (I cheated)

Polish Pierogi aka potatoes, cheese, potatoe/cheese, or bluberries wrapped in dough and cooked in water. Serve with a little pure organic butter for taste. They have meat too but I am not a fan of those. Almost every American says they like Pierogi. Alexandra's makes some good Pierogi and R&A in Burbank, IL also has some good organic (Pure and chemical free) choices.
