More than 300 resilient souls ran into frigid Lake Michigan Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois during the 2005 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge in Lake Bluff off Sunrise Beach.
A six-year tradition, most wore costumes, many sporting the bald head, big glasses and bow tie made popular by Six Flags Great America mascot Mr. Six.

I didn't think that it would be that big of a deal, and I thought that it would be way too cold. Next year I'll do it, if Six Flags sponsors it again.

You know, it is for a good cause... you really should consider doing it whether you'll get a free ticket for GAm or not...
I know I would if I wasn't stuck in Champaign-Urbana.
