No, I meant true Chicago baseball fans like myself who watch both teams during the season, and have waited, like me for 30+ years to see something like this. To sit, and have your heart just ripped from you like the Cubs did to so many fans in 03, to see something like this......heck ya. If it were the Cubs, I would be celebrating just the same. This is something that has not happened in this city for over 8 decades. My father who lived until 75, would have loved to have seen a World Series champion in this city. He never did. I have, and I am blessed. Beleive it or not, there are Cub fans out there who wanted to see the Sox win, and I respect those fans who had the stomach to put their hatred for the Southside aside, and wanted the chance to experiance what a WS champion would feel like. Beleive me, after sitting through play-off diaster, and playoff disaster from both sides of town, 83, 84, 89, and a few in the 90's, and especially in 2003, this is sweet.

Im in Awe. Really, really sad to see the best radio announcing crew (according to USA today and ESPN) split up. Today was rooneys last game, and its been a hell of a ride.
