five shows again on saturdays, cool, except i won't be able to go on saturdays. I'll be at a sunday show, i'm not doing the obsessive thing anymore. One show a visit, that's my plan, and i'm stickin to it.

Laff this year is only meh in my opinoin. I saw two consecutive showings today. They did have many popcorn references which pissed me off. I really don't like all of this "Orville Redenbacher" crap. I'm sorry to swear but that's what it is. I believe they ruined it this year. I really liked the new character Zombina, as well as the napolean dynamite referance. But it really could have been better. I also liked this years jack, although I can tell that some of you won't like him. I also don't really like this years vampira, I miss the southern one. That hag character this year is all british and weird. But I can't tell you what to think, see it for yourself.

i'll be atone showing todayn w/ DVTR, i make him luv LAFF! i'm relly excited though, it's been forever since i watched my DVD copy of last year's show, and I hope to see if it's gotten better/worse than last year. From the way you make it sound, it sounds like it's worse, which doesn't put a great feeling in my stomach, but oh well. Not sure which show i'm going to, but i'll be there.

I just don't find it funny. They had so many great jokes last year, and They really only took advantage of one or two moments this year, vs. like 8 or 9 last year. But I do like the new character, Zombina, and also their new three-way "Beast". I think this years katie is a bit of a britany spears wannabe. But it wasn't an entirely negutive reveiw.

Sorry for the double post, but after seeing it yesterday for the third time, I thought it needed a rebuttal. On sunday it was so much different then Saturday. I think Saturday was like a testing day, now based on audiance reactions lots of things are different. So Even though I don't think it's as good as last years, It's still a really good show, and I'll probably see it a couple more times.

I have to completely disagree with you Binks. I thought the show was awful this year. I didn't find the jokes funny, some things that work one way were ruined, and I just didn't think we needed a new character. There were several moments in the show that definetly were just weird. I didn't like the three part "beast" thing. I was with freightfestfreak3, and during that part, she looked at me and was like " they can't do that. I thought some of the vocals just didn't fit well either. I've seen better I must say, I don't think i'll be back to see it again this season. This isn't just trying to completely bash the show, I love LAFF, but i don't think this is one of its better seasons. Remembe this is completely my opinion, so please don't jump on my case because of it. This is just what I think, and don't let it discourage you from seeing the show anymore.

i'm not sure. I prefer last year's jack so much better. He's just weird...i don't know. I'm not sure who noticed this, but when they have the part right before I need a hero, when they dropped Jack's clothes, they were last year's costumes.... that finished it for me. it was the same orange sweater, and the greenish pants from last year. Jack wasn't even wearing that this year. That was one of the moments when I kinda threw my head into my hands and shook my head.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Jack was wearing the orange sweater underneath the flannel shirt he had on.

I saw LAFF this Saturday for the first time. My favorite was the witch (and I completely coveted her wig.)

I saw the show on Sunday. I like the show a lot, but this year, it seems a little different.

Hag was funnier before. The blue vampire seems like a new person and it is hard to understand her.

It's still a good show though.

I'm glad they kept the "Back to Back" song for the parade. I contacted Great America before about trying to buy a copy of the song, but they won't sell it.

How many of you saw the parade pre-show? To me it looked like they broke the crown, right before putting it on Katie's head.

I saw the show both Saturday and Sunday. A couple friends showed up later on Sunday so I actually saw it twice Sunday.

I would say things were much smoother on both of Sunday's performances than Saturday. A couple of the head mikes cut out briefly once or twice but they did a much better job Sunday overall.

It's still a fun show overall. I don't go there to pick it apart-Just to have fun.
