V2 or Deja Vu?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby RagingBullLover1543 on October 6th, 2005, 4:01 pm
Which would you rather ride?

I like the Vu.

V2-Stand in hot sun for 20 min. Finally get on ride. Then it's over like that.

Vu- Stand in line for 45min to an hour but you are shaded in some parts. Longer ride. More enjoyable.

So what do you like better?

Post Away!

Even though i havent been on neither of them I would probably like v2 more. And on the great america parks forum the called dejavu a lwan ornament since they removed sky whirl for vu.

This ain't even close. If I want to get sun-burned, be bored out of my mind, and get no thrill at all... I'll be in line for V2. If I want to have a little fun and look forward to at least a little bit of intensity, I'll be waiting in line for Deja Vu, row 8, seat B...

Vu was refered to as a lawn ornament because it had lots of trouble getting started, not because sky whirl was removed and if you never rode either one how can you say which one you would like more?

any way I love the Vu and V2 is equally as good at least for me

Both rides are medicore at best and help give the park a high coaster count but dont provide rides that are reliable and very enjoyable IMHO. They are ok to ride if operating but are nothing special.

I will say Deja vu. I have only been able to ride it once, and I thought it was so scary. It probably the scariest ride I have ridden. It was still a lot of fun and it was fairly intense. V2 is fun but not scary or intense.

V2, but I've only been on Vu twice. I just waited for sooooo long to go on a ride that didn't end up being my favorite anyway. Plus, you can't beat V2 in that first row... :)

Well personally IMHO, aside from V2's launch, that terrifies me, the rest of the ride is a bit boring, except when you hit the brakes on the north tower, that's a bit painful in the chest area on some girls. I like Vu better, but I think that the park could really do without either. They don't provide "air-time" and they are short and predictable. I like coasters where you aren't sure what to expect next.
Welcome to ShockWave please pull your harness down as far as it will go. While riding ShockWave please keep your hands and feet inside the car, and your head against the headrest, please hold on to all loose articles, especially hats and glasses. Enjoy your ride!

Water on the back spike? V2s line moves fast compared to others in my opinion. Its all been station walk-ons for me.

Whoa! youre having a competition between Deja Vu & V2

Deja Vu just wins if thats the case, Its amazing and gets me everytime. Its a heart racer and its more thrilling than yes...RAGING BULL because VUs got that scare factor while raging bulls the most fun! Ive been on Deja Vu definatley 15 times or more, and trust me it has very little competition with V2 8)

^I'm a little skinier than some so Vu's restraint doesn't close tightly around me. I find that cool because it feels like your going to fall out! I agree with Vu beung scary and Bull being the most fun.
