Legally yes, but lets keep in mind no tornado slide has been sighted on site. All you have to go by is some little concreat footers. I said many times that the chances of us getting a tornado are pretty good but untill i see an announcment i dont buy any thing.

^not just concrete footers but an entire landing pool specificly for a tornado, but thats apparently not enough to "guess" were getting a tornado...whatever, this isn't worth fighting about since there is proof

Footers aligned like the other Tornados, a spashdown pool in the right location, and the GM has said it's coming. Oh well if you don't want to believe it there's nothing anyone here can do to make you.

Hello, i HAVE said i dont know how many times. "Chances are we are getting one"

The GM has NOT made any OFFICIAL announcment. For all we know we are getting it in 2 years time. He said we may be getting one he didnt say WHEN!

^ For the very last time, back in May, Sevart said on the Hurricane Harbor construction tour that they planned on having it finished by the end of December.

If you have anything else to say about why we are not getting a Tornado next year, just read my signature.

Hello, i HAVE said i dont know how many times. "Chances are we are getting one"

You all have one major flaw. I wait for OFFICIAL or SOLID Physcial evidence. I dont see any yellow or blue slide peices on site, all i know is that there are footers and a drop pool filled wiht sand.

I want OFFICIAL announcments, not assumptions. I have never said we arnt getting a tornado. I just said i dotn belive any thing untill i see some OFFICIAL press relases. You woudl be suprised at the ammount of "new attractions" that are discussed by that park, and at how close we have been to getting some big attractions. WITH physcial evidence to back it up, but they fell through at the last minute.

I belive that the pool and footer are the work of the construction crew. The slide will be taken care off of my pro slides.

Tell me how we dotn know that the company that makes tornadoes goes belly up tomorrow, and the deal is cancled? There are many factors that SF takes into consideration. They dont go screaming every thing that has been confirmed to the public, the wait untill its set in stone.

NO slide has been OFFICIALY purchased, there is a footer and a drop pool. Convincing evidence, but not LEGAL or OFFICIAL documents to prove that we are getting a tordano.

How do you know the tornado hasn't been purchased already? There is plenty of proof that we are getting a tornado next year, and like others have already said, the GM already stated that it will be added for 2006.

See we dotn know if a tornado has been perchased, cause there is NO OFFICIAL announcment concerning the matter. All there is, is a casual conversation with sevart.

FOR THE LAST TIME! "IT IS LIKLEY THAT WE ARE GETTING A TORNADO!"

I just dont belive that we will be getting it until i see some OFFICIAL announcments made!

OK I am new to the forum, but have read and visited this site many times. I joined to tell all of you that this has to be the most over-exaggerated topic I have ever seen, and after so many posts restating the same thing over and over again, everyone is in a pointless and never-ending argument. Honestly, who cares what everyone else believes? Obviously, a topic labeled "2006" is going to have many rumors in it, and hasn't that happened since the very beginning of a new attraction post? Believe what you want and keep it to yourselves.

Glad I have that off my chest.

How do you even know that the slide wasn't purchased already and in off-site storage. There is a very good chance that it is already there, and that is was purchased last summer when they mass bought the other ones.

"Official Word" IMHO, is word from somebody in the PR department about a ride for next year. You know who is the PR dept.'s boss?

The GM, Ronald Sevart.

Who said that we are getting a Tornado next season and that it should be finished by Christmas.

He wouldn't have said that unless it was set in stone.

I consider this "Offical word"
Top 5 wood-5-Goliath 4-Ravine Flyer II 3-Phoenix 2-Voyage 1-El Toro
Top 5 Steel- 5-Velocicoaster 4- Maverick 3- Fury 325 2-Steel Vengeance 1-X2
Coaster Count: 444

everyone shut up with arguing, he is saying we will probably get a tornado but they didnt officially announce something, we prbably are getting a tornado, but all he is saying is that nothing is official, it may not have been put on the website or anything yet and the GM did say we are going too, so we are so stop this arguing and talk about something else im sick of it

No one can prove theres a tornado coming but at the behind the scenes showing, we were told it was coming next year and it was pointed out where it was going right by the NE side of the lazy river.

They would not pour footers or build the landing pool if they were not ABSOLUTELY sure we were getting a tornado. I don't know why I waste my time with people that couldn't listen if their life depended on it.

Arguing about it and throwing around any ideas that may be true or false arent going to get anything built any quicker or get you riding it. Just have to wait and see what happens.

So thats why i wait for the official announcments. I dont wast my time with un-confirmed facts, cause it will just lead to dissipointments.

Sevart said it at the construction tour.

The foundation for it is in place.

Signs at the entrance of the park state that they are expanding HH for the 2006 season.

"The writing is on the freakin wall here"

You refuse to believe it because YOU didn't hear it from his mouth.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

any kind of expansion would be nice.. Id like to see a decent coaster that has part of it go overhead of the midway.

I would like to see a coaster taller than raging bull, that would be crazy . I think we deserve a new coaster but i know there are other parks in more need than us. We will be getting something in 06, i know that much.
I'm running to Bull on opening day, anyone gets in my way and they'll get trampled.

I have not refused to belive any thing! I have said over 5 Freakin times! "Chances are that we are getting it" I wait for somthing official, something in writting. I have heard a lot of things from sevarts mouth to btw! And not all of it was factual. I belive sevart %100, but i need to see the solid proff. Cause belving we have a tornado is a lot different to having one.

^ And there lies your problem, "chances are that we are getting it".

There is no chance here. The Tornado is a fact for all of the reasons Chitown stated. Contrary to what you think, parks don't start pouring footers when they don't know what they're getting. The Tornado is coming and some silly little press release isn't going to change anything other than making you shut up.
