Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby Danhockey04 on September 15th, 2005, 1:37 am
That was the rumor that was going before, now that rumor has died out, it may still have some truth, but it was suppose to be 2 water, 2 normal. A coaster, a flat, a masterbalster and a Tornado, but that has died out, so no one knows what is really going on.

When does Six Flags usually announce its new additions? I know there were Hurricane Harbor signs all over last Fright Fest.

I think it all depends on how big of a secret... i mean look at superman. When they were removing shockwave, they didnt announce anything was going there until like january/february. They hold out. the only reason i knew early that they were building a new coaster is because i was going to gurnee mall and noticed them building it.

i would say if it was a new coaster, they will start in october and not tell anyone whats going on until early next year

In my opinion, SUF was a piece of cake once I saw the track in employee's lot. Considering I have just been to SFOG that year, it was simple for me to figure what it was.

A tornado is not confirmed for next year.

I repeat....A Tornado is NOT confirmed for next year

HH will eventually be getting one, but NO announcement or decision has been made on when it will be added.

As for a different ride, I would put money on the possibility of getting a ride from SFNO, as that park most likely will be closing.

I have heard some pretty outrageous ideas for next year, and I can honestly tell you that NONE of them are happening (at this time).
I wouldn't count on SFGAm getting anything to be honest, just for the pure fact the company is for sale

^Trust me, Tornado in 2006. SFGAm didn't pour that landing pool for nothing.

Why dont you all just sit tight and wait for them to make an announcement.

EXCUSE ME!!!!

You're calling ME retarded?!?! Why the hell would they pour the landing pool more than one year in advance? Sevart specifically said he wanted to have it finished by his holiday break in December.

Please check your facts before calling other members retards.

^I agree with you here. I know it's been confirmed and the landing pool is just sitting there covered in sand. There is no reason why they would pour it before they had to. And do us a favor, choose better words to call your fellow members...Thanks

OH MY GOD! You guys shut-up and stop fighting. Did anyone read the announcement!? I did. Jason said that if he sees fighting on a topic he will lock it. So keep your retarted and otherwise comments to your self. But i heard that there will be a Tornado.

ok listen..you ppl have no clue what ur talking about. They poured the foundations because it made sense. Most of the water parks have a tornado. SFGAm was goign to get one regardless. It is LESS WORK for them to do it when they are already constructing it and putting in the pipework and water connections then it would be to add it later on.

Would someone who knows me PLEASE back me up on what I know

But, that's the point of our posts. It HAS been confirmed, strait from the mouth of Ronald Severt. I just don't understand where this is coming from.

Bring us Astroworld's Greezed Lightnin' and call it Tidal Wave. That's what I would like to see in 2006!
We should all remember to be thankful to have a world-class theme park like Six Flags Great America here in our local area!

Yes, You've told us that in every single topic for a month. And It's not true. Seasonal employees know nothing.

I only recall posting it in ONE topic LAST MONTH. I already knew seasonal employees know little.

Don't call Nolan a retard. Nolan knows more about the park than anyone that I know, and I know most of the people that go to the park regularly. He has picture proof. You don't, so just be quiet and crawl back in your hole.

What do you think the odds are that we actually get one of the coasters/flats from Astroland?

I'd say It's all unpredictable. What with Snyder, Astroland, and New Orleans problems, SFI is getting put though the mill. What happens next year in all the parks is anyones guess. (Exceptions being the MM, GAm, and GAdv Additions)
