In my opinion, they're a rip off

They are not a rip off, to you it might be since you have been on all the rides, but to people that havent been on all the rides, it is useful to them, and are willing to pitch over $15. Six Flags is out to make a profit, not satisfy your every want. Basically, when you buy one, you are paying $3.75 per ride. There is also that offer for the free fastlane to season pass holders, where you buy 2 and get 1 free, so you get 3 fastlanes for $30, which comes out to $10 each. If you use that, then you are paying $2.50 for each ride. Basically, SF needs money, and it is a money-maker, I have seen fastlanes sell out at least 10 times this year.

The reason I think they are a rip off is because they arent like exit passes. They dont guarantee an immediate ride on a ride. On BTR, the wait with an exit pass is still like 15 min. You only get to bypass part of the line, not all of it.

So, what's your point?

On a packed day, that still gets you past at least 80% of the ride line. Elminating that much for someone who goes once a year, like me, seems to be worth it.

I actully plan on buying one the next time I go. They seem like a good deal to me seeing as you do bypass the MAJOR part of the line.
This is where I would usually put stuff. Can't think of anything right now... =/

It depends. When you get there, there's a sign that says what rides are accepting them.

Raging Bull
Giant Drop
Iron Wolf
Vertical Velocity (maybe not during your visit because it's been closed for the last 3-4 weeks)
Batman the Ride
Superman: Ultimate Flight
There are a few more I think but I'm having a brain fart at the moment

I think that season pass holders should be awarded and get a fastpass type thing where you put your season pass in the machine and it comes out with a time and your pass (like at Disney World) but people that don't have a season pass should pay (just because we payed $70 some bucks for a season pass)

If they did that season pass prices would skyrocket.

We used it for Superman once. The line went all the way past Rue Le Dodge. Totally worth it bypassing the ENTIRE line.

I would only buy fastlane or q-bot if I was at a park that I hadn't been to before, and I was in risk of not getting all of my credits.
