So I heard from this guy that knows this guy that knows this guy that knows this guy that works with this guy who's brother works at demon nachos right, and they said, right, they said that whizzer, well whizzer is a roller coaster...yup. A roller coaster. How bout that!

I have come across reliable information telling me that this will be the Whizzers final season.

See, my brother-in-laws cousin's freind's husband has a freind who knows this girl who's brother's girlfriend's cousin, on her fathers side, knows this woman, who has a son that has a friend who's mother's brother works at the Six Flags corporate headquaters. Well, one day, while cleaning out the toilets, he over heard two big wigs talking about how Six Flags Inc wanted something big to celebrate GA 30th anniversary. They said that they would take out the Whizzer and install a 500ft rocket coaster, that would go 200mph, and have 10 inversions, and it would be a B&M. The big shots then left.
I trust my source, so bye, bye Whizzer.

I definitely think Whizzer is staying for now. I was just there today and noticed that they added some sort of maintence structure on the far storage track. I'm not sure what it is supposed to do, but it certainly doesn't appear to be something they would bother adding to a ride they are closing soon.

When I rode the whizzer yesterday. The ride op on the mic was going on about how great the ride is and what a classic it was. When I got off I made a comment to my friend that it was probably getting torn down next year, the ride op overheard, and said as far as he know IT IS GETTING removed. He said he was upset since it was always his favorite ride to work at.

So short version- A ride op claims its getting removed. Take that as you will
