Maybe they will make it a every "once in awhile" type deal. I came to the park last year when he came to SFGAM (July 9th) and it was PACKED.. I mean JAM PACKED. Everyone was there to see him! Strange thing was that most ride lines were not that bad because it was mostly families with small children
You only got to see him for 15 minutes and he was gone.
I missed him by 5 minutes, thanks to traffic.
I got a 2 second piece of him on camera. I thought they would've had the winner at the look a like contest dance with Mr. Six but they are so secret with him.
We got the what... 5 minutes... that he was dancing up by the carousel and then we followed the trolley into Hometown Square and my fiance yelled his name and he looked right at our video camera and waved. I was so happy! I love Mr Six!! We were also lucky enough to see him front row on Raging Bull. It was supposed to be a secret ride but when you see a camera crew in Vipers line and pointing up to the top of Raging Bull plus raging Bull is supposedly closed you can kind of guess We stood and watched his whole ride.. it was funny.
I think he rode a few times didnt he? like twice? I dont remember.
In any case.... I am sure it costs big bucks to have him make an apperance. Anyone who has gotten that popular in the past year and a half pretty much becomes a premadonna....
Think of it this way... there are some celebs who havent even done anyhting in many many years and they want 20k just to make an apperance. OUTRAGEOUS!
I think Mr. Six made an apperance at SFGA for Kingda Ka..but I could be wrong.
^ He's a marketing schill, not a celebrity. He dances to what ever tune SFI marketing creates like the good little monkey he is. He goes where they tell him to. It isn't like a paid appearance that you would have with any other kind of "celeb".
It's the most fun in the park when your laughing in the dark.
haha... if only that were true. I heard that he has a contract with SF and he has outlined only two special apperances a year, and they still have to pay him to come out to an event! He is a celeb in his own way...

What you heard is one of the oldest tricks in character marketing. By "accidently" leaking those kinds of stories to enthusiasts, SFI marketing helps to create the illusion of Mr. Six being his own person.
In reality Mr. Six is a character creation. SFI owns the rights to or outright owns the character and can hire any actor to appear as that character.
To be fair I will concede that it is possible that the current actor that portrays Mr. Six may have been smart enough to get an exclusive contract for a certain amount of time, but after that time is up expect to see a lot more "exclusive" Mr. Six appearances at individual parks.
