Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

/\ I think the problem is that the GP public doesn't know that it was B&M's first. And probably a lot of them don't know who built it or who B&M even is.
Iron Wolf is a work of art. I find the roughness of the ride to be awsome and because it was B&M's first just makes it even better. But it also has a short line, sweet.

America's first successful stand-up coaster was the now defunct King Cobra at Kings Island, which operated 1984-2001.
I like Iron Wolf, but unfortunately, the way most of my friends feel about it, it has ended up on the "once per visit" list.
Finally Coaster Season!!

Since I am tall that ride kicks my ass....not a very big fan. I've only been on it 4 or 5 times this season I believe.

First successful yes but first in the states was Rail Blazer at SFStL. Only operated for the "84" season.
Waiting to fill this space with something stupid to say!

Iron Wolf is bumpy,
but it is a great ride.
Notice when you go up the lift hill you can hear a lady on the PA system say please stay seated at all times

Like black gray would be a boring color on Iron Wolf.

Don't by-pass a coaster because you heard negative bad reviews of it. Get on it and form your own opinion.
I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.

The best place to sit is the front row.

Check the date of the post. It was written in 2003, when batman was black.

Just FYI- Iron Wolf is a "first" because it was the first standing LOOPING coaster of its kind.

This is one coaster in need of a paint job. Perhaps dye it a different color and get rid of the fading magenta.
R.I.P. Splashwater Falls and Space Shuttle America. Deja Vu, enjoy Idaho.

I really enjoy Iron Wolf. The first drop and the first loop are my favorite parts. The only thing i dont like is the way your head bangs around on the corkscrew. But tht lasts for only a few seconds so it doesnt really matter.
Frieght Fest!!!

sorry that's incorrect. King Cobra (now gone) at PKI was built before it.

It is not bumpy, The cool part of the ride is the first drop, the loop, and the turn going thru the loop.
