Postby danieln84 on July 24th, 2005, 8:41 am
Do you think the park will be crowded? Because the HIGH For today will be 100+, Then add the HEAT INDEX. The TV SAYS Temp will feel like 115. I Personally would not even go outside. do you think SF will have low attendance? i would not even wait inline for hurricane harbor on a day like today. it would be to dangerous

i'm not sure, but if there is, i think there will be a lot of people at the shows, and a lot of people at the waterpark. Personally, i wouldn't go today either, I can't stand the heat, and if it were 100+ i'm sure i'd probably pass out.

The Heat will lower the crowds!!! But im going on Tuesday and it wont be as hot as it is today. If you think about it Six Flags Great America has to be making alot of money!!! Even if its like 80 I wouldnt sit inside all day I would go to the pool! So maybe were going to get more then Tornado next year so they cna expand there capacity and increse $$

Yeah I think the heat would probably lower the crowds. I know I wouldn't go, maybe for the light crowds, but I'd be riding plenty of water rides.

Remeber this. Today is Fiesta Mexicana and every festivel is always crowded. I went' to six flags in 98 degree weather with heat index of 110 and alot of people was there.

I think that the heat won't crowd the park because not many people want to be outside when it's 115 degrees out.

If anything the waterpark would be packed.

Yea, I think the park will be still packed. Waterpark will probably have a line twice around the mainpark, and if the lines for the rollercoasters happen to be short, then it's going to suck waiting 10 min in 100+ degree heat in the sun.

Today is one day I'm happy to stay indoors, or just go lounge under the tree in the back yard. It's nice out.

I think that the park would be crowded, the waterpark is most likely max'ed out and I am sure there is a long for every ride in the park. It is a Sunday, Fiesta Mexicana, and people go on days like today, so I think that it should be crowded.

Current Temp as of 8:20 Central time, 104 degrees (Includes heat index).....Seriously...

Which do you prefer.....

115 Degree (Includes Index)

Or

5 Degree's AND Lower in the Winter?

Ill Take the 5 Degrees and LOWER. becuase 1, you dont sweat. 2 its LEGAL to add more clothing, sometime its so hot, you just wanna be NAKED but thats kinda illegal in public

I would definatly prefer 115 Degree with Heat Index over
5 Degrees and lower. I hate winter and I hate being cold.
Plus, if it's 115 Degree's, I'll just stay inside!

I'm glad tomorrow won't be so bad. I heard storms are forecasted for the Gurnee area though, and I'll be going tomorrow. Hopefully it lightens up the crowds.

I also went for a walk today, it wasn't too bad... I like the heat sometimes, so I think it tends to feel good.
