Which Day should I go?

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.
Postby coasterfreak4701 on June 22nd, 2005, 8:09 am
Hey all. My Dad and I are trying to set our trip to great america in a few days. The two days we are working with are Sun. the 26th and Tues. the 28th. Weather for both days is forecasted to be rain free, but Sun. is set to be like 7-10 degrees cooler than Tues. I'd say we should plan on Tues. but I'm afraid of Sun. passing by and having been a nice day and then Tues. turns out to be a stormy day. I'm kinda torn. What do you suggest?

I would say Tuesday because it would be a lot less crowded. I went on the last Sunday of June last year and it was PACKED. It was so crowded I only got on 5 rides within 7 hours. I even got stuck on my first ride on King Chaos. I think it was really crowded because some coke can deals were ending soon or something. It may be the same story this year. Plus Tuesdays aren't bad.

I was thinking maybe we should plan on Sunday so that if a day or two before it looks like it's gonna be bad, we would have tues. to fall back on.

I think you should go sunday because im going sunday. And like he said it was crowded last year, it wont be as crowded this year cause of the water park. Last times i went this year i went on the weekend and i got to go on all the roller coasters more than one time(including deja vu)it was great so i think you should go on sunday.

Ha.. .Your really wise... basically your saying "Go on the more crowded day because I am going and dont listen to anyone else"

I GAURANTEE it will be significantly less crowded on tuesday than sunday.

because of the water park. You can ask 50 people that are going on the same day and i gaurantee 40 of them are going to the water park.

First of all: Quadruple post...Read the forum rules in the upper right hand corner of your screen.

Second: Tuesday are always significantly less crowded then Sundays. I've been on many sundays, and I've been on many tuesdays. There is a big differece. Coasterfreak4701: Don't listen to him. Trust me, and whoever else said this. Tuesday is the better day to go, for your own good.

G-Unit, Be as ignorant as you want, but read the freaking rules.

http://www.sfgamworld.com/phpBB2/rules.php

If you feel like you dont have to abide to them, I gaurantee you wont be here long.

So 40 of 50 people going on sunday will go to the waterpark? That would mean the waterpark would hit capacity by about 11:15

Even if we follow your flawed analogy, what makes you think 40 of every 50 people on tuesday wont be going to the waterpark also?

I would suggest Tuesday, because of lighter crowds than on Sunday, and it will be warmer. But if you want to go to Hurricane Harbor, go early because it may get up to capacity.

Don't go on a sunday. Listen to the people that go to the park more often and know what they're talking about. Weekdays are always less crowded than weekends.

I can't be sure he undestands what a "double post" is.

If you want to add something, please take note of your edit button. It can come in handy and stop you from double posting twice and quadreuple posting once. Or else you'll be the second (millionth) reincarnation of Tyster.
