I've seen that fountain. But, it's not like the other fountain. Anyway, It's not THAT bad, but i'd still keep the fountain.

I miss the fountain so bad I think I'm going to speculate about it and probably make around 17 topics saying how badly I want it back.

Seriously guys, it's a fountain , definatly not the end of the world here.

It's not the fact that the fountain is gone that bothers me; it's the fact that our park is going to look like a cheap tourist trap with all the crappy, expensive games Six Flags insists on adding.

"At least they added the new fountain in the little lake over by Vu"

They needed that fountain badly, that water was NASTY. Would get stagnent and the second half of the year it'd stink up most of Hometown Square and county fair (when they took out Sky Whirl they took out a bunch of circulation pumps).

Also every time I see this post of mine, it eats me up alittle inside with the spelling error in the title, anyone know of any way to fix that? :)

Woodland... I don't think that it is the fact that we miss the fountain. It's the fact that they took down a very nice centerpiece of that area to put up another game?? That it what gets me. I understand that they are a business and have to make money but tearing down what is supposed to be a permanent structure for a movable game confuses me. Unless the fountain can be moved in one piece?? My fiance does brick work with my uncle and it just seems like it would have had to been torn down and ruined. I just can't believe that they couldn't find anywhere else to put the game.

I don't know.. stumps me. It's not that big of a deal it was just a very nice place to stop and rest for awhile. I have many memories from that fountain.... j/k

I think that they should take out the gazebo in front of the train station and put a fountain in its place. They never use the gazebo, except for the annoying radio buyouts.

^ They use it for FF to do sound and lights for the Zombie Jamboree and store it in the rain. They use it for Character Meet-n-greets and Radio buyouts, or when they have a band or something playing in HTS. They use it for the soundboard.

I know, but they could just as easily set up a tent for whenever they need a roof. I don't know, it just seems more practical for everyday use to have a fountain there instead of a permanent gazebo.

Ok, maybe I'm misreading some posts here, but wasn't there a fountain by Vu last year anyway? It looks me like the fountain from the middle of that walkway was moved to the entrance of hurricane harbor. Which I can deal with because hurricane harbor's entrance would be dull without it. Although I do have to agree that the games are making that place look a little tacky, maybe they should put those vines back up, that would be a good place for the trolls.

That was the first thing we noticed on opening day that the fountain was gone in the center.. The Wac A Mole kinda sticks out too much. The fountain by HH is nice but I still think the one in the center by Aunt Marthas should of stayed. It was a nice anchor point.

To clear a few things up:

1. The Deja Vu fountain is in the lake(or whatever you want to call it)when you go over the bridge that connects Hometown Square and County Fair, it is pretty hard to miss if your looking for it.

2. The fountain that is by the Hurricane Harrbor entrance is NOT the same fountain as the one that was removed from Hometown Square who ever said it was, there may be some parts from it but it is a completely different fountain.

3. Not really clearing anything up but their are Vine Tunnels at Kentucky Kingdom as well, and there really isn't any room to put them even if they wanted to bring them back as well as the fact that the atmosphere in that part of the park is trashed and it wouldn't be the same even with them there.

4. The Gazebo in Hometown Square is used on a daily basis in the summer for the parade.

I was going to add that they do use the gazebo for the sound and lighting boards. I sat by them, and started talking to the sound guy. I think he thinks I'm nuts now, becuase I was singing along to the parade, because I have the Jumpin' Jammin' Jubilee Memorized...

Side Note: They no longer play the venga boys song in the parade! Yay! :D
