I hear that lines for RB and S:UF stay heavy, but what about the lines for say B:TR and V2? And are Demon and AE still busy? Just wondering...I'm going tomorrow but I'm thinking about going on friday as well. Thanks.
1. Voyage
2. X
3. Millenium Force
4. Top Thrill Dragster
5. Raging Bull
Last year many of the lines actually got a little bigger after the park closed. Iron Wolf, American Eagle, Demon, and Giant Drop were walk ons but everything else had a line. Bull and Batman were usually no longer than 10 minutes though. I like to use CAD to marathon something like Eagle or Wolf because they rock at night.

ya, expect to see people just getting to the park around 7-8:30.
Here is my CORNY idea to make CAD more of a Premium Season pass thing
Make a CAD card. which all season pass holders must have to ride all the rollercoasters. however put restrictions on it. Make it so that you CAN ONLY get the cards BEFORE 2pm. that way people will have to be there before 2. which would be awsome, and SF would be forcing the people who only show up for CAD to have to spend more time/Money in the park
^ True, but people probably get more upset when the park is busiest during C.A.D. then it is during normal hours, or atleast that is how I see it, After going to the first two last year, I see no reason to go this year.
danieln84 the event is called CAD, as in Coasters After Dark. Why would I or anyone want to be there before 2? I plan on showing up around 7pm.
As for the original question about the lines. Its hard to tell what they will be like. I have a feeling the cool weather predicted for Friday may lighten up the crowds a bit, but still expect there to be average 30 min per coaster. If I remember last year they stop letting people get in line for S:UF and RC a half hour before they where closing the park.

I plan on being at the park at open... So whats your point?
Galvan316 my point is CAD means Coasters After Dark. I am only concerned riding the coasters at night as in there is no sun. Sunset is at about 8:30 ish. No need to be there at 2pm or at open. I can go any "day time" I want I have a season pass. If you want to go at open cool, enjoy... good luck making it until 11pm and trying to be functional the next day.
I also have a question. Where do they make sure that the guests actually have season passes. Do they just check at the beginning of the Que lines? Also, if the guests who don't have season passes still get in line by 9:00, are they still allowed to ride?
Coasters Ridden: 131 Top 5: Maverick, El Toro, Voyage, Fahrenheit, Dominator
Last year I went to the 1st two CAD events from open to close with no problems. Friday I am getting off of work at 11:30am picking up my nephew and hope to be there by 1-2pm
More popularity for event means more people upgrading passes. Then they can take all the extra profit and build better rides. I don't think theres anybody who should be upset if cad's are busy nights.
Well it looks like I will now be there at open. My sister want to take her kids there in the AM. I will probly be there untill 2ish.. go home take a nap and come back for CAD at 7 - 8ish.
Surprisingly today at the park they really didn't market CAD at all. No signs before ride queue's or announcements or anything. Sadly CAD brought in many more people around 8 PM and the lines really only got bigger. AE's line went from the stairs to the station to inside the tent!
Anyways we did RB's half hour queue then left around 11.
