Yeah for real. These rumors you have been hearing don't sound very reliable at all, and don't even make sense.

Man this isnt half as bad as another forum I read:http://coasters2k.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1100This post made no sence and was the stupidest one for a rumor of where Shock Wave will end up!
It's not how high or how fast you build the roller coaster it's how smooth you build it!

I didn't get to see the Shockwave parts, but I hear it's still sitting in the Employee's lot. From the Train, though, you can still see the remnants of Sky Whirl.

Those Coaster2K people must be complete morons... Oh well. But anyways, I hope it turns up in a land fill. Well, maybe they could ship it to SFGAdv. I know some GASM track turned up in a monkey exibit, maybe the monkeys want some more Arrow track. Otherwise, it's not really all that useful.

Yeah it definetly cant go to SFMM. Im suprised all the Shockwave pieces didnt get put into a warehouse yet. The Sky Whirl buckets arent in the lot anymore they are in the warehouse as well as the Haybayler and Power Dive. Yes I said Haybayler. I heard that SF bought a park near Milwaukee that went out a business and they are re-renovating it and adding more rides to it. I heard that Shockwave is going there. The park is supposed to open in 2005. I really dont beleive this at all but I just felt like telling you what I heard.

I read on screamscape that Shockwave could be sent to the park SF bought in N.O. Great America wanted to get rid of Shockwave since the middle 90's. They finally had an excuse with the accident last fall and Superman. There are plenty of places in that park where Superman could have went. Picnic Grove is a waste of space along with the Wilderness Theatre. The location where Power Dive and Cajun Cliffhanger was is a lot of land if you would take out the burger joint. The recording studio across from Power Dive could have been taken out also with all the games. God knows that park has way too many games anyway.

D o you think it would be possible for any of the rides in the back such as Haybaler and Sky Whirl to be rebuilt in another part of the park? I really liked the Haybaler.

I liked the Haybayler too. It is possible that they could find another location in the park to place them. As you can see PD and CC have been taken down. The burger place next to PDs old spot closed later last year and it still hasnt opened. I know they are planning on putting something there.

if they were going to put any of the old rides back in the park, i thinkthey should put back the sky whirl where powerdive was.....when you go on the train, you can see all the tracks from shockwave, and the buckets from sky whirl.....i hope they put it back.....it would make a lot of people happy!

Uhhh, the burger joint is closed? Thats funny, on opening day, me and my daughter were in that very restaurant for lunch.

You can see the track from S:UF and S:UF's exit. Its kinda sad seeing it rusting on a hill, but six flags must have a reason to keep it there. With a little paint this ride can look new (like Tidal Wave looks now) in a new home. I believe it may go to one of the parks that six flags recently bought. Wherever it goes, im sure it will attract a fair amount of the GP with 7 inversions.

Gosh, I really miss shockwave! I`m very attatched to that ride(personal reasons). I`m a sensitive guy, ya` know! But seriously, I really miss it to no end. It really angers me that I could see its parts from SUF!!! I`m not very happy with the park and haven`t been for awhile now. I hope it pops up somewhere! What a great ride!!!!

Freak4life, you passed by the burger joint a lot? Dude, the parks only been open for two weekends. Don't jump to conclusions.I'd like to have Sky Whirl back. But they would have to rebuild the whole ride structure again. Nada. Although after Deja Vu leaves at the end of this year  (HAHAHA) they can put Hay Baler back in there.Shockwave in Wolf footprint. Um, no. There isn't any space there for that ride. Where do those coaster2k people come from?If you ride the Scenic Railway you get pretty close to the track sections, for those of you who want to pay last respects.

Why do some of us keep thinking it will end up at MM? As it was stated probably numerous times, they already have viper.I bet you someone will post something soon about it going to GAdv. Just wait and see...As for the SF park in Milwuakee, That has to be a rumor. This type of thing would most likely be all over the news and what not. I'm only saying becuase I live in Milwaukee (actually a suburb in Milwaukee) still I don't think they bought anything here.

It would be cool if you could have a coaster in your backyard. Just like Richie Rich. He had the Iron Wolf in his backyard.
