I also start school the day after tomarrow (Tuesday). I'm going into 8th grade. Haha. Wont the kids be jelouse (spelled that wrong. hope you know what I am saying).

Anyway. My cousins have never been on a upside down roller coaster before. So I cant wait to see their faces on V2 (although I will only see one of my cousins faces. Oh well).

I prefer the term hyper coaster. And Raging bull is the only roller coaster at sfgam that is one of those.
I want the sfgam survivor to be held every July and August.

I mean like a Wizzer type of thrill. Hyper coaster is only Raging Bull. The mega coasters are (starting in Orleans Place): Superman, Batman, V2, Iron Wolf, American Eagle, Deja Vu, Demon, Raging Bull, and Viper.

Fun I'm also going into 8th grade. The only thing that sucks is that we get out on June 9th.

(last year we started on september 1st and got out june 11th)

Anyways back onto topic.

The first time I actually went to fright fest was last year.
Does anyone here actually do the haunted houses? Because last year I did that walk-through one that takes the place of the picnic area.

OMG.That is so weird Sedir. We get out on June 9th also. Last year we started Sept. 2nd and we go out on July 11th. That is weird.

I did the haunted house that takes place of the southwest territory arcade and it was pretty scary. I also generally do the one in the picnic area.

Drkstarboard what school do you go to? Is it in Lake Zurich, Barrington, or somewhere else.

--

My family and I almost did the southwest territory one (dead and breakfest?) but we decided to do the picnic one instead seeing as it had a higher "scare" rating. Little did we know that there was another haunted house in it and a freak show, but all we did was just walk the trail. AND PEOPLE KEPT STALKING ME. And that one person in the cornstalks almost grabbed me.

yeah sedir, that's kind of what happens in necropolis (The Walkthrough). It's not a haunted house just an extra haunted area. The houses are Mausoleum of terror and Sleepy Hollow.

They are not really signs, even though they do have Fright Fest signs about MVP. Anyway, the grim reaper dude (statue) across from the train station is cool. I have to say though that it is weird to see that type of stuff in August.

in my opinion, SFGAm has some great halloween creations. This is whether it is being statues, tombstones, skeletons that talk, stuffed guys like the aliens, and the fog machines only help the experience.

Don't go to the park expecting to see new Fright Fest scencery. It's just a little advertising to let you know that the Fall season is upon us all soon. They also had some Fright Fest teasers at SfStl.

Well mabye they are doing some touch-ups to the park to get ready for it and also to advertise. So you never know unless you work in the entertainment department at sfgam.

I go to Middle School North in Lake Zurich but we switched schools because a new Middle School North was built. We still consider it in Lake Zurich though

The entertainment department doesn't have anything to do with decorations/creature crew. The landscaping guys who do all thr rest of the flowers and the landscape designer and in charage of designing and decorating for fright fest. And since I know the head landscape designer... (Not saying anything else). Except he really hates fright fest. He says he has some great stuff planned this year. But each year they have to re-buy everything because they don't take the decoratins down so it all gets ruined in the winter. It's a pain in the neck.

That is real stupid that they don't take those down. I've got to say one thing though, sometimes they keep stuff each year so that they can reuse it every year. (example: Tiny)

Yeah, they don't take anything down except what you can see from I-94. The crew usually starts un-decorating in february.

Today they had skeletons, dead bodies, a big gargoyle that has blood coming from its mouth, 3 witches, and 3 grim reapers accros the station. Also there are a few new songs playing there too. They got a nice fog setup too. At night they got some lights shining on it so that made it look a bit cooler.
