Every topic I make they close it down DONT do it for this one...Is it me or does the night shows just seem like a waste of time. Like the parade is good and all but like the concert. I think its like to hmmmmm I dont like the lyrics and stuff like that. I also dont like how the make the hometown station it looks weird. But o well what can I do I still think SFGAm is still one of the best SF parks.

By now you should be use to what the HomeTown Square Station looks like. It seems the General Public like the Show, so it's not going anywhere. We are not Disney but we make the Families happy and you happy with the Great mix of Rides And Shows.

Since, I don't know whether you are talking about all Disney shows, or just the ones at night, I will tell you about the ones I know of.

Magic Kingdom: Robotic shows including the Carousel of Progress, Country Bears, and the Presidents. At night they had a longer firework show and a parade. I believe that don't have people on stage like SFGAm does.

MGM: Indiana Stunt Show, Beauty and Beast and Little Mermaid live show along with Millionaire and Bear in some house. The thing is that many of these shows are sketched after movies or are on television. SFGAm has done this with the Batman Stunt Show and stopped ever since. They should go back to something like this. Oops, I forgot the Scooby-Doo Mystery train is like that. At night they have Fantasia after the movie. They also have a parade during the day.

Animal Kingdom: The two I remember hearing of are The Lion King (which reminds me of the movie again) and Tarzan. Another parade.

Epcot: They have some water show at night and the American robotic show comes to mind. They also had Food Rocks which is gone now. BOO to Epcot.

So, mainly the two types of shows they have are based on robotics, or on the productions they make. I would like to see a robotic show at SFGAm.

I don't have a problem with the parade, or the singers at night. I think it's good they have them for the kids. The only problem I have is that I'm usually over there because I want to ride Triple Play at night. Also, getting to SUF and D Vu can be quite difficult. It's a good thing for the park to keep that though and I think it draws people out of the park (which is a good thing for me).

Don't tempt me. Just play by the rules and you will be fine. You don't need to start a topic with this useless crap.

Be glad that Triple Play still stays open during the pre-show and parade this year. Last year, they shut the ride down when the show began.

What do you mean DONT tempt me I didnt read the rules in the first place Dont get an attitude!

Now that I think about it since like im 15 the concert may be childish so yeah its good for kids. I think the should have like singers for like thre songs then like looney tunes for like each charactor ( famous ones ) to sing like songs from the show if you remember and like have cheer leaders or something in the back round also like the poles I know this is like impossible but it should come out of the ground when the show starts. I like the parade though and the idea of the season pass holders ride in the trolley Man SFGAm gets better every year I LOVE IT!

I'm not a mod but: read the rules and you will go far.

I'm not really sure what this topic is about, and it makes no sense at all. But from what i gather, here's my two cents. I still like the parade, and since i'm usually in that area when the parade happens i see it a lot. But the pre-show is horrendous. But i realize it's for little kids. i thought it was the greatest thing when i was little.

in general....this preshow isnt the best I have seen at the park....but if you saw the Dancing in the Streets parade, it was a little more for older kids I guess, and the Zombie Jamboree parade is really the best preshow the park puts on...its my favorite and I watch it every time Im at the park for Fright Fest!

Enough already soon daily operation will stop and so will the parade. If you don't like it go ride a ride it's a great chance to avoid long lines. Let's face it without the buying of Great America Six Flags Had PacMan as their Mascot. Don't get me wrong the old guy turns 25 this year Waka, Waka. If you have traveled to to other Six Flags Parks you will be stunned how large their Looney Tunes Section is Compared to ours. Really I'm embarassed by that gapping hole they call Looney Tunes National Park, Put more rides and theming in there!!!!!

How can you say take out the ball area for rides? That's like the ultimate attraction for kids, every parent of little kids I know say they spent the whole day in there.

I think Ron/Wolf is not saying to take it out, but expand it. The way I look at it is that smaller kids can also ride flat rides throughout the park. I was pretty young and I rode East River Crawler, and the Whirlgig while my brother and dad went on BTR.

Isn't Waka, Waka from a cartoon character. Does anyone know which one?

Your not understanding it, the REAL little kids, they need Camp and Lodge for those kind of rides because they can't go on stuff like East River Crawler.

Expand Yes, Expand the kids area. Look what Expansion did with the Addition of Mardi Gras! The same needs to be done for the kids, little kids, we are not a kid friendly park. Rumors keep flying about KiddieLand if it was to really close Chicago would be void of a Childrens Park. Great America must address all issues Adults, Teens, Families. Look at Kings Island they have More rides for the Kids then Thrill Seekers and Kill Great America in yearly Attendance. Let's be the True Family Park We Say We are.

I think SFGAm does good attendance. I just went today and it was packed like whoa! SFGAm has no problem with its attendance. Also we dont expand the kids area because no room. Do you know where they can expand it? If they bring back the hometown park the way it was than it will really be good for kids. This park is for everybody and has no problem at all!

As for the night shows like I said and to me its a good topic that they do it good for kids and have no problem at all! I just dont like the idea how it was like i dunno like they should have a fire work show to start off the parade but yea its still good. Also if SFGAm will use the stuff like how Marriott did it will probly be better because like the fast lane pass if you see next to it their was a ticket booth their They could sell em their and put the candy shop back.

O yea I asked my cousin when i went to SFGAm today I was at Yankee Harbor and I said what do you think this is he said "ThE FuTuRe" :? Im like no but he thought of that because like of the arcade next to V2 but I told him and he said they should put boats which I think was a good idea and make a new bigger light house next to V2 it will make people know but no problems I think SFGAm is one of the best parks in the U.S. and anybody who does not think so well they dont know what they are talking about. Sorry its long lol.

Sorry but stop with no room crap. There is soo much room in out park. You are not looking har enough. Even the Sky Trek ops can point out areas in the park that can recieve an attraction without taking anything out.

One problem with Six Flags Great America is that it lacks capacity compared to other Six Flags parks.

In which way are you saying? Capacity of the people in the park, meaning that the park is too small, or that there are not enough high capacity rides? I'm guessing you meant the first one. So, I will say that the park is quite big, even though it may be small compared to other parks.

The only thing why capacity could be a problem is that there are some highly centralized areas in the park. SWT, Mardi Gras, and Yankee Harbor take the cake. If it was spread more equally, in my opinion the park wouldn't be considered small in capacity. However, it's still quite far for me to get from the entrance all the way to the back of the park (Revolution maybe).

Um, lets see what other SF parks bother running 3 trains on anything, or 2 trains for that matter .

I mean more like Great America is becoming more popular than the park can keep up with. They just built Southwest Territory, and now there are talks of a new themed area coming (I don't want to start any rumors). Compared to some other Six Flags parks (like St. Louis) lines are worse at Great America. Of course, Great America is one of, if not, the best Six Flags park. :)
