I didn't like the new colors either, but everytime I looked to see what's going on when it was closed (5 times), I got used to them. Some rides need painting such as IMS and LR while others such as Demon and BTR didn't need it. The paint wasn't wasting away on TP. Just my opinion.
The difference is not big except for the different colors.

I think the colors are pretty cool, something different.
I really like the new bearings on the ride, I'm suprised they with with the really high quality Rothe Erde bearings, I know they come standard on Huss Rides but I figured with the small about of $$ SFI send SFGAm's way for maintenance they would have gone a cheaper route. Nice smooth rotation as compared with before it's rehab.
(I think I'm the only person who noticed the new bearings, and would ever notice something of that fashion)
no more thinking in the back of my head "this rotation just gets jerkier and jeriker"

I noticed new bearings (or at least the fact that it was smoother) from before but I have no idea what a Rothe Erde bearing is.
I love the new paint, but i hate the new latch system. You have to put your hand under the car instead of just your foot. I had trouble with my foot and so did the operator, I ended up reminding the other operator that you now have to use your hand, and she laughed.
ANYWAYS...
I didn't notice much change in how the ride worked...new berings huh? I'll have to look for that. At first i didn't like batman's colors, i don't like tp's yet, but i will eventually. Lots of good memories on that ride...haha. one of my park favs. Who cares about roller coasters?
What you don't understand you can make mean anything.
Papas wasn't kicked off, he just decided to stop posting.
Anyways, I rode TP for the first time today. Pretty good ride... I don't have much to say about it, other than I like the colors and I plan on riding it again during one of my upcoming visits.
I did notice one thing different about Triple Play that none of you have said yet. However, it could be questionable. At the end of the ride, when it's to the ground, you don't get much of the "Condor thing" at the end like you used too.
For people that have ridden TP for many years (including me), you should know what I mean. The ride is great as always, but I love the red color the best.

It was so long since I rode Triple Play(except for Thursday), that I didn't really remember the end of the ride. If I remember correctly, it felt the same at the end as always(and even Condorish).
