It seems that SFGA has a lot of rides from the same company. Huss controls the Triple Play, King Chaos, The Orbit, Condor, Revolution, and Ricochet. While Intamin has Fiddler's Fling, East River Crawler, V2, and Giant Drop. I think that the America Eagle and the Whizzer are also by the same people. We have Zamperla's TrailBlaizer, Tea Cups, Balloons, Jester's Wild Ride, and the River Rocker. At one point we had Shockwave, Demon, the logs, and the boats by Arrow. Lastly, we have the big four by B&M: Batman, Superman, Iron Wolf, and Raging Bull. Isn't better to have some variety? Sure it's good to have good companies, but I would love to include some more companies.
If a company makes quality rides that are popular, why not continue with them. Plus, in my opinion, B & M is far and away the best coaster manufacturer in the world. So I say keep them coming.
A monopoly is when ONE company controls everything in the industry. In the coaster industry there are probably a good 10 big manufacturers, and there are a lot of manufacturers for flat rides too, there is a lot of heavy competition out there.

Orbit, East River Crawler and Fiddlers Fling were manufactured by Schwarzkopf, until around 1998-9 Intamin did not build one single ride they were only a ride broker for other companies.
Rajun Cajun was sold and manufactured by Zamperla.
Really Zamperla, Schwarzkopf and Huss are the only companies that make rides worth a damn (flat rides that is and Chance had their glory days also I suppose), we could have all kinds of Moser, Technical Park, Fabbri, Mel Park, Meisho and Fujame rides in the park, but then we'd have a whole lot of often closed maintenaince nightmares of rides.
Also for other Variety if you want to get specific on some rides, Space Shuttle and Sky Trek Tower are both Giovanola Rides as was past rides Power Dive, Edge and Z-Force. Haybaler was Jhle Brothers, Hometown Fun Machine is Eli Bridge Company, Splashwater Falls is OD Hopkins, Train is Custom Fabricators out of Ohio with all the supporting equipment from Chance Rides, when we had them both Sky Rides were Von Roll, DV and Sprocket Rockets are Vekoma, and Technically Giant Drop is a product of Ride Trade. I think SFGAm has a decent variety of rides from across the board in the industry, about on par with the rest of the industry.

Who cares anyway, all that have ridden Eagle Red in money seat with absolutely zero brakes on knows that is by far the best woodie in the park (even with the trims on, it's the best woodie in the park too).
Why are people like this always? "Oh this ride was copied from that ride" "This ride was cloned 50 times." Get over it, it's a quality coaster.
Do you know why rides are cloned? Because they are popular and people want to ride them. S:UF is a clone, I guess that ride sucks to. Because Six Flags used the desgin of another coaster and recreated it you don't want to give them credit, that is wrong.
A "Giggling good time" Scott? LOL, just thought that was funny. Cajun is a great ride, some people might not like it cause they get thrown around alot but that is the fun of the ride.
