Strongest Brakes

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

If you are talking about the hardest brakes to hit it would be RB (it would be Viper if the brakes didnt pump).

If you are talking about the strongest brakes in the park it would be Deja Vu. It has one brake holding up that heavy train.

By the way, Giant Drop and V2 dont have the same type of brakes. V2 has LIMS, Giant Drop doesn't.

I would have to say Viper. Because I love sitting in the back and i always have to put my hand on the bar infront of me because of how abrupt the stop it.

I think you're reffering to V2, Vu doesn't use any breaks unless it miscatches (or valleys which doesn't happen anymore).

V2 does not use the LIM's for braking, there are regular Magnetic Brakes that drop down to slow the train, only difference is on V2 the fin is on the train and the Magnets are on the track (opposite of Giant Drop).

Viper back from when it opened to maybe 99-00 was easily the strongest in the park, then they set them to pulse providing a smoother less violent stop.

I would have to say american eagle has the strongest brakes that thing just jumps at the end, and if you guys wanna say v2 has the strongest brakes, it has the same system as the giant drop, and im sure them brakes are alot stronger but magnets dont count i guess. so THE EAGLE Definitly
Rode Raging Bull 9 times opening Day, lol to all who were scared of the weather.!.

I would definetly say that RB has the harshest. Even the platform thinks so. Viper is second and I don't why V2 is even considered.

I can't really say one, because one day I'll be flying forward then pushed bak into my seay, then the next I'll just gently rill through them.
