Since all the hotels are fairly expensive around the park, are there any cheaper ones an exit or two away? Else what about something as you head a little further out towards Lake Geneva, Milwaukee, or Madison?
In addition, I also might be looking for somewhere to stay in Madison or Wisconsin Dells.
BTW, can someone tell me if these arcades are still there?

I don't know how cheap you are referring to, but if you want a decent hotel at a good rate, try this place. It's about 5 minutes from SFGAm.
http://www.extstay.com/locations.html Click on the Illinois button, then click Chicago, then look for Crossroads Economy in Waukegan and click that. I finally retired the Sarah Palin signature because she is now 100% irrelevant.
