New For 2025 - Wrath of Rakshasa

Talk about anything that has to do with Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor here.

You definitely can put your hands up, the restraints won't get in the way of that. Riders were stressed to hang on during the events last week. I think this is both for not blocking faces and being in the proper riding position.

Not much different from Striker preview.

Striker's preview they were still working on running electrical and communication lines for the queue speakers.

I see this is before the preview officially started.. Was the portal open yet? Or did the line get out to here even going through all the switchbacks?

Portal still isn’t open, it’s drizzling a bit but nothing bad, still not unexpected for them to be late

If it's overflowing that far with switchbacks filled, I'm in for it tomorrow.

No switch backs. First train of the day. Good addition. Trying to hop on it again.

Sourced from Reddit. Maybe it’ll be like this all year? Seems like the sign is made to be there a while:

Well you better get used to it!
There’s absolutely no extra room in The station for people to wait for rows. So I assume this will be permanent thing for the life of the coaster.

I got two rides on it today and it’s easily number 3 here for me. Goliath and Bull have it beat but I see Warth knocking Goliath down a spot. Third inversion was the best part of the ride. I got row 2 the first ride and row 1 the second ride.

Agree 100%. I actually want the BACK row, outer left! You get more of the drop lol.

How were the conveyor bins working? Also are you allowed to use zippered pockets or must your pockets bet totally emptied?

They didn’t really check for zippered pockets. They just say you are not allowed to hold anything. The conveyor is nice… although when there was some down time it seemed that the peoples items past the exit and had to be recycled again.

My ride experience was good. You do feel the bumpiness of the outside seats. Not horrible. With that said, I would not be able to marathon the ride. I got 3 laps in today and I’m tapped after that.
