X-Flight is so underrated and amazing. Don't ever dare remove that now. It's aged better than Goliath, that's for sure.

X Flight is very underrated. Neither are that old and neither are going anywhere anytime soon. There’s only what 3 or 4 wing coasters in the US?

Don't worry, the park isn't going to remove a 12-year B&M. I'd say we're only halfway until we should become worried. Besides, I think it gets great ridership since it's right next to the shiny new flat now, and that in-line twist through the tower is appealing to the GP, among other features. Among enthusiasts, yes, it is underrated, but I don't think it's going anywhere.

I agree with Goliath since before I became an enthusiast, it was "Goliache" since I always got a serious headache after riding it. That's changed now, but it's definitely aged worse.

On a side note, for the park's actual 50th in 2026, could anybody else see a family/kiddie coaster coming in called Gulf Coaster after the original? Maybe in New Orleans since that's near a Gulf and Yankee Harbor's defunct?

No.

With a large investment in a B&M, it will be a while before we get another coaster.

The 50th anniversary will be like one. A focus on in park improvements, refurbs, maybe Eagle backwards again. Etc.

I need that OG themed music back, anything paying homage to history is good in my book

Goku - Agree 100% !! X-Flight is my favorite ride at the park! And my overall favorite ride of all the coasters (over 200) I've been on! I've now got over 300 career rides on it. I can't explain why I love it so much but I do!

Also I noticed last night that the Batman wheel covers have gone missing from the brake run... interesting... (it may have been like that a couple weeks ago but I did not take note)

I noticed that too. They were there all year but have been gone since they reopened after it got painted….

Maybe just maybe.

And while it’s not important and it’s often wrong, X Flight actually doesn’t have a hyphen. The Wikipedia page is hyphenate but the official list on the app and park pages does not hyphenate it so that’s what we go by. It’s X Flight!

^^ It has the hyphen (X-Flight) on RCDB.com.

That’s not official. The parks website, app and all their official communication does not use the hyphen.

It’s not hyphenated.
